Tarih boyunca İslâm düşüncesi içerisinde yer alan her bir ekol sünnet/hadise farklı yaklaşımlarda bulunmuş, hadisin anlaşılması, yorumlanması ve sıhhatini tespit etme noktasında farklı metotlar izlemişlerdir. Mâlikî mezhebine mensup olan Ebu’l-Velîd el-Bâcî (474/1081), Endülüs’te yetişen seçkin ve saygın bir fakihtir. O, sadece fıkıh alanında değil, birçok farklı ilim dallarında da söz sahibi olabilecek nitelikte bir birikime sahiptir. Dolayısıyla fıkıh sahasında olduğu kadar, değişik bir çok ilim dallarında da eser vermiş üretken bir müelliftir. Bâcî, hayatının önemli bir bölümünü ilim tahsili amacıyla çıktığı seyahatlerde geçirmiş, bu seyahatleri esnasında sahasında otoriter ilim adamlarından ders almayı ihmal etmemiş, maddî sıkıntılarına rağmen ilmi terk etmemiştir. Müellif, gözde eserlerinden olan ve usûl-i fıkıh alanında cedel metoduyla yazdığı en muhtevalı eseri olan “ İhkâmü’l-fusûl fî ahkâmi’l-usûl” adlı eseri ile yine aynı alanda özlü eseri olan“el-İşârat” adlı eserlerinde Hadis/Sünnet konusunda önemli bilgiler vermektedir. Bu çalışmada adı geçen iki eseri bağlamında Bâcî’nin Hadis/Sünnet konusundaki görüşleri irdelenmeye gayret edilecektir.
Throughout history, each school within the Islamic thought has been found in different approaches to hadit/sunnah and different methods have been followed in terms of the understanding, interpretation and well-being of the hadith. Ebu'l-Velīd al-Bâcî (d. 474/1081), a member of the Mâlikî sect, is a distinguished and respected judge in Andalusia. He has an accumulation of qualities that can be heard not only in the field of jurisprudence but also in many different branches of science. Therefore, it is a productive author who has worked on many different branches of science as well as in the field of fiqh. Bâcî spent a significant portion of his life on trips aimed at the study of science, during which he learned lessons from the authoritarian scholars in the field and did not leave science despite material troubles. Ihkâmu'l-fusûl ", one of the most famous works of the author's favorite works, which he wrote in the field of jurisprudence and" el-Isârat "which is a concise essay in the same field, contains important information about Hadith / Sunnah. In the context of the two manuscripts mentioned in this study, Bâcî's views on hadith / Sunnah circumcision will be examined
