Sınıfta iletişimin büyük bir kısmı beden dili vasıtasıyla sözsüz iletişim olarak sağlanmaktadır. Öğretmen tarafından gerçekleştirilen ders anlatımı sırasında sözlü iletişimin yanı sıra soyut kavramlardan somut kavramlara doğru sözsüz iletişimin etkili olduğu gözlenmiştir. Beden dilini etkin kullanabilme, iletişimin önemli olduğu eğitimde başarıya ulaşmada yardımcı olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, sözsüz iletişimin tanımı, unsurları, öğretmenin jest ve mimikleri, bakışı, sınıfta duruşu, kendine olan güveni ve beden dilinin derse olan etkileri anlatılmıştır. Bu amacı gerçekleştirmek için literatür tarama modeline yönelik bir çalışma yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın sonunda, öğretmenlerin beden dilini etkin kullanmasının getireceği yararlardan, beden dili kullanımıyla ilgili yapılan yanlışlardan ve bunlara yönelik getirilen önerilerden bahsedilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin öğrenciler tarafından örnek alındığı ve özellikle ilkokul çağındaki kişilikleri gelişmekte olan çocuklarda yaratacağı etki unutulmamalıdır. Öğretmenlerin öğrenci üzerindeki etkisini anlamak için, onların çocuklar tarafından ne kadar net hatırlandığını öğrenmek yeterli olacaktır.
In class , communication is mostly provided by body language as nonverbal communication. During the lecture carried out by teacher it has been observed that verbal communication is effective as well as nonverbal communication, abstract concepts to concrete concept. Effective usage of body language helps reaching sucsess to educetion in which communication is important. In this study, definiton of nonverbal communication,its elements, teacher's postures and gestures , his view, his stand his self confidence and the effect of body language to lessons. To achieve this goal, a study was carried out on the model of literature review. At the end of the study, it has been mentioned about the benefits which brings with the teachers' usage of body language; the mistakes has been made about usage of body language; and the recommendations has been brought to these. It shouldn't be forgotten that teachers are role model of the students and especially during their primary education theachers has an impact on students devolopin their personalities. In order to understand the impact of teachers on students, it will be enough to learn that they ara remembered by the children clearly.
