Masnawis are of important genres of diwan poetry. There are many works of different contents written with this genre. Among them, there are variety of samples that have different contents, set-ups, and use of language. Assesments of those works are important in uderstanding the masnawi genre and works written with this genre. Some masnawis use peculier section headings. Hasbihals are one of them. These hasbihals serve different funtions and purposes in those masnawis. Tacizade Cafer Chelebi’s Hevesname, which claims to be original due to some peculiarities, requires special attention for the volume and abundance of its hasbihal sections. In this paper, after having a general assesment of hasbihal sections of some masnawis, we will examine the hasbihal sections of Cafer Chelebi’s Hevesname.
