Poets of the Classical Turkish Poetry give place to various elements of simile to be able to express their sentiments and thoughts more efficiently. Studies carried out on the elements of simile have an important place in respect of showing the fact that how poets benefit from common materials. In this article, zevrak and the elements of simile relative to zevrak will be considered. Through the study, sample couplets selected from the poems by the poets of the Classical Turkish Poetry will be used.
