Uygarlık tarihinin dönüm noktalarını belirleyen savaşlar, trajik içerikleriyle edebiyatın ana kaynakları arasında yer alır. Türk savaş edebiyatının varlığı edebi-yatçılarımız tarafından uzun yıllar tartışılır. Savaşlar ba¬kımından zengin olan Türk tarihinin savaş-edebiyat iliş¬kisini güçlendirdiği açıktır. Cephe ve gerisinde yaşanan trajediler edebiyat vasıtasıyla gelecek nesillere bir ibret vesikası olarak aktarılır. Çalışmamızın giriş bölümünde savaş edebiyatı kavramı üzerinde durulmuştur. Türk sa¬vaş edebiyatı hakkında bir altyapı oluşturması açısından İslamiyet öncesi ve sonrası Türk savaş edebiyatına da de¬ğinilmiştir. XIX. yy.’da gerçekleşen savaşlar hakkında kısa bilgiler verilip, bunların Türk savaş edebiyatına kat¬kısı incelenmiştir. Ayrıca her savaşın sonunda, söz ko¬nusu çatışmayla ilgili bağımsız bir kaynakça bölümü yer almaktadır. Yapılan savaşların Türk edebiyatçıları, ya-zarları ve akademisyenleri için cazip bir tem olduğu bu eserlerle belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca bunların gelecekte hazırla¬nacak savaş edebiyatı çalışmalarına kaynaklık etmesi düşünülmüştür.
Wars became the turning points in the history of civilization and took its place as the main sources of literature with their tragic contents. The existence of Turkish war literature has been discussed for a long time. It is clear that the Turkish history, which is rich in terms of wars, strengthened the relationship between war and literature. The tragedies behind fronts had been narrated to coming generations by literary works. In the introductory section of our study we focused on the concept of war literature. We also touched on pre-Islamic and Islamic periods of Turkish war literature since they formed the infrastructure of the literature. We gave short knowledge about wars which took place in the nineteenth century and analyzed their contribution to the war literature. In addition, at the end of each war, a separate section of bibliography is given. These works show that these wars provide an interesting theme for Turkish writers, authors and academicians. Finally, we thought that this study will be a main source for the future works on war literature.
