One of the 18th century Classical Turkish Literature poets and authors Tokatlı Ebûbekir Kânî’s book, named “Letâifnâme ve Hezeliyyât”, consists of two different parts: verse and prose. These book’s prose part has different characteristics from classical characteristics of letâifnâme and hezeliyyât. In this book there are some examples of texts written in different forms. But all texts have satirizing and humor. Kânî’s prose “Letâifnâme ve Hezeliyyât” book has five commentary text and a poem rhymed “şerh eyle”. We try to introduce his book by the view of content, form, language, and expression.
