Öz: Günümüz mimarlığında strüktürel sistemler yalnızca yük taşıyıcı unsurlar olarak değil, aynı zamanda mekânsal algıyı biçimlendiren temel estetik ve işlevsel bileşenler olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Strüktür ile iç mekân tasarımı arasındaki ilişki, bir yapının hem kullanım değeri hem de görsel kimliği üzerinde belirleyici rol oynamaktadır. Bütünleşik tasarım yaklaşımları, bu iki disiplinin birlikte ele alınmasının tutarlı ve etkili mimari sonuçlar üretmedeki önemini vurgulamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, Çamlıca Radyo ve Televizyon Kulesi, modern mimarlıkta strüktür ve iç mekân etkileşimini incelemek için anlamlı bir örnek sunmaktadır. Bu çalışma, kulenin strüktürel sistemlerinin iç mekân tasarımına estetik ve işlevsellik açısından nasıl etki ettiğini araştırmaktadır. Yöntem olarak literatür taraması, yerinde gözlem ve analitik değerlendirme kullanılmış; analiz mobilya, aydınlatma, malzeme/doku, boyut, biçim ve konum olmak üzere altı parametre üzerinden yapılmıştır. Her bir unsurun tasarıma katkısı ve strüktürel sistemle ilişkisi değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular, Çamlıca Kulesi’nin strüktürel tasarımının mekânsal ve görsel bütünlüğü desteklediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Özellikle aydınlatma, malzeme ve biçim unsurları, mekânsal algıyı güçlendirmekte ve kulenin simgesel kimliğini pekiştirmektedir. Çalışma, strüktürel sistemlerin iç mekân tasarımını zenginleştirme potansiyelini vurgulamakta ve gelecekteki projelerde disiplinlerarası, araştırma temelli yaklaşımların benimsenmesini önermektedir.

Abstract: In contemporary architecture, structural systems are regarded not only as load-bearing elements but also as essential aesthetic and functional components that shape spatial perception. The relationship between structure and interior design significantly influences a building’s usability and visual identity. Integrated design approaches emphasize the need to evaluate these disciplines together for cohesive architectural outcomes. Within this context, the Çamlıca Radio and Television Tower offers a valuable case to explore the interaction between structure and interior design in modern architecture. This study investigates how the tower’s structural system impacts interior design, focusing on aesthetics and functionality. The methodology includes literature review, site observation, and analytical evaluation based on six parameters: furniture, lighting, material/texture, dimension, form, and location. Each is assessed for its design contribution and connection to the structural system. Findings indicate that the structural design of the Çamlıca Tower supports the interior through holistic spatial and visual integration. Lighting, materials, and form especially enhance spatial perception and reinforce the tower’s iconic identity. The study highlights the capacity of structural systems to enrich interior environments and suggests future designs adopt interdisciplinary, research-based approaches to structure-space integration.
