Tanzimat sonrasında Türk müziğinin batılı müzik formları ve yapılarıyla etkileşime girdiği bilinmektedir. Bu dönemde bazı besteciler, batı müziği unsurlarını geleneksel müziğimizle harmanlayarak çeşitli denemeler yapmıştır. Bu bestecilerden biri de M. İsmail Hakkı Bey’dir. Kendisinin çok farklı türlerde besteleri olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu çalışmada, e-Devlet sistemi üzerinden Devlet Arşivleri Başkanlığı'na ait arşive erişilmiş ve İsmail Hakkı Bey’e ait olduğu belirlenen operetler tespit edilerek tasnif edilmiştir. Araştırmada belgesel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Kaynaklarda, İsmail Hakkı Bey’in hangi operetleri bestelediği ve kaç adet olduğu konusunda belirsizlikler bulunmaktadır Bu çalışma, bu konudaki eksiklikleri gidermeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda İsmail Hakkı Bey’in arşive aktarılan defterlerindeki operetlerin, arşivde yazılı künyelerde sayfa sayısı bakımından uyuşmadığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca hangi operetlerde güfte dağılımı olduğu, operetlerin kaç perde olduğu ve operetlerin nüsha sayıları gibi veriler de incelenmiştir.
It is known that after the Tanzimat period, Turkish music interacted with Western musical forms and structures. During this time, some composers experimented by blending elements of Western music with traditional Turkish music. One such composer was M. İsmail Hakkı Bey, who is known to have composed works in various genres. In this study, access was obtained to the archive of the Directorate of State Archives through the e-Devlet system, and operettas attributed to İsmail Hakkı Bey were identified and classified. The documentary research method was used in the study. Sources contain uncertainties regarding which operettas İsmail Hakkı Bey composed and how many there are. This study aims to address those gaps. As a result of the research, it was determined that the operettas recorded in the notebooks archived under İsmail Hakkı Bey’s name did not match the number of pages listed in the archive catalog records. Additionally, data such as the distribution of lyrics within the operettas, the number of acts in the operettas, and the number of copies were also examined.
