Emîn Feyzî, XIX. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında Süleymaniye’de dünyaya gelmiş manzum ve mensur eserler telif etmiş bir sanatçıdır. Asıl mesleği askerlik olan ve miralay rütbesine kadar yükselen sanatçı, bilim ve sanatla fazla meşgul olduğu gerekçesiyle emekli edilir. Yaşamı boyunca okuma ve yazma faaliyetlerini sürdüren Emîn Feyzî, 1929 yılında İstanbul’da Darülaceze’de vefât eder. Eserlerini ağırlıklı olarak Meşrûtiyet Döneminde telif eden sanatçı; Muallim Nâcî, Nâmık Kemâl ve Tevfik Fikret gibi her biri edebî ekol sayılan sanatçıları takip eder ve bu sanatçılardan etkilenir. Emîn Feyzî’nin 1911’de İstanbul’da bastırdığı Şu’â’ât adlı eseri kendi nazım üslubunu ortaya koyduğu orijinal bir eserdir.  Bu eserde, çeşitli nazım biçimlerinde 47 adet şiir bulunur. Bu şiirlerin 32’si gazel nazım biçiminde yazılmıştır. Manzumelerinde aruz veznini kullanan Emîn Feyzî, bu ölçüyü şiirlerine başarıyla uygulamıştır. Şair; hiçbir şiirinde mahlâs kullanmamış, yazdığı tüm şiirlere şiirin konusunu çağrıştıran başlıklar vermiş, manzumelerin sonuna yazıldığı yer ve tarih kaydı düşmüştür. Emîn Feyzî, Meşrûtiyet Dönemi sanatçısı olarak klasik şiire hâkim bir şairdir. Vezin, mazmun ve söz sanatlarını geleneğe uygun kullanan sanatçının şiirleri, çeşitli konu başlıkları altında sınıflandırılabilir. Emîn Feyzî’nin Şu‘â‘ât’ında bazı şiirleri kesin çizgilerle sınıflandırmak güç olsa da eserde, genel olarak askerlik, aşk, edebiyat, sanat, eğitim, eser, hikmet, inanç, öğüt, övgü, siyaset, düşünce ve şikâyet konulu şiirler bulunur.

Emîn Feyzî, XIX. he is an artist who was born in Süleymaniye in the second half of the century and wrote poetic and prose works. The artist, whose main occupation is military service and who has risen up to the rank of heritage, is retired on the grounds that he is too busy with science and art. Emîn Feyzî, who continued reading and writing activities throughout his life, passed away in 1929 in Istanbul Darülaceze. The artist who authored his works mainly during the Constitutional Period; He followed and was influenced by artists such as Muallim Nâcî, Nâmık Kemâl and Tevfik Fikret, each of whom constituted a school. Emîn Feyzî's work titled Şu'â'ât, published in Istanbul in 1911, is an original work in which he put forward his own verse style. In this work, there are 47 poems in various verse forms and 32 of them were written in ghazal verse form. Using the prosody meter in his poems, Emîn Feyzî successfully applied this measure to his poems. The poet did not use pseudonym in any of his poems, gave a title to all the poems he wrote, evoking the subject of the poem, and the place and date of the poems were written at the end. Emîn Feyzî is a poet who has mastered classical poetry as a Constitutional Period artist. The poems of the artist, who uses the vezin, mazmun and rhetoric in accordance with the tradition, can be classified under various subject headings. Although it is difficult to classify certain poems in Emîn Feyzî's Şu'â'ât, there are generally poems on military service, love, literature, art, education, work, wisdom, advice, belief, praise, politics, thought and complaint is found.
