Son yirmi yıl içinde değişik hastalıklar, başlangıç noktalarından hızla dünya geneline yayıldı ve her ülkede insanları etkiledi. Son olarak da Korona virüsü 2020 yılının hemen başında engellenemeyecek şekilde dünyanın her tarafında insanlara bulaşacak bir potansiyele ulaştı. İlk şaşkınlık geçtikten sonra elde edilen verilere göre virüsün iklimsel engellerle karşılaşmadığı, değişik evrimler geçirerek farklı özelliklere de sahip olduğu ve solunum yoluyla geçebildiği, daha uzun süre yaşayabildiği gibi sebeplerle küresel boyutta ülkeleri sosyolojik, ekonomik, sağlık ve politik açılardan etkilediği görülmektedir. Bu çerçevede dünya genelinde yıllık bazda 1.5 milyar insanın turizmin değişik kollarında hareket ettiği ve bu rakamın her yıl %6 civarında arttığı, turistik faaliyetler sonrasında ülkesine geri dönen insanların, gittikleri yerlerden değişik hastalıkları ve Korona gibi salgına dönüşebilen virüsleri getireceği düşünüldüğünde, uluslararası turizmin, dünya/ülke sağlık güvenliği bakımından ciddi bir tehdit oluşturduğu dikkate alınmalıdır. Ancak turizm hareketleri önlenemez gerçeği de vardır. Korona virüsünün yaratmış olduğu etkilerin en başında turist hareketlerinin azalması sonucunda ülke ekonomilere verdiği zarardır. Dolayısıyla sağlık güvenliği bakımından turistik hareketlerin oluşturduğu tehdit iki yönlüdür. Bunlardan ilki bilinçsiz turistlerle hastalık taşıyıcılığı, diğeri de salgınlar sonucu tıpkı günümüzde İtalya ve İspanya’da olduğu gibi turizm gelirlerinin azalmasıdır. Bu çalışmada dünya sağlık örgütü raporlarında belirtilen sağlık tehditleri ile küresel turizmin arasındaki bağ ortaya konulacak ve küresel boyutta bilinçli bir turizm hareketinin nasıl oluşturulabileceğine dair model sunulmaya çalışılacaktır.

Over the past two decades, different diseases spread rapidly across the globe from the starting points and affected people in every country. In early 2020, the Corona virus reached the potential to infect humans all over the world, unavoidably. According to the data obtained, it is observed that the virus does not encounter climatic obstacles, having different evolutions and having different features and being able to pass through breathing, and can live longer, and it affect countries on a global scale from sociological, economic, health and political perspectives. In this context, considering the fact that 1.5 billion people worldwide move in different branches of tourism and this figure increases by 6% every year, people returning to their country after touristic activities will bring different diseases and viruses that can turn into epidemics such as Corona. It should be noted that it poses a serious threat to country/world health safety. However, there is also the fact that tourism movements cannot be prevented. The damage caused by the Corona virus; as a result of the decrease in tourist movements; are the most recent damage to the country's economies as a result of decline in tourist movements. Therefore, the threat posed by touristic movements in terms of health security is twofold. The first of these is the carrier of disease with unconscious tourists, and the other is the decrease in tourism revenues as a result of outbreaks in Italy and Spain today. In this study, the link between the health threats and global tourism stated in the World Health Organization reports will be revealed and will be presented to how to create a conscious tourism movement on a global scale.
