From the moments myths emerged to the present day, bards, narrators, tablets, wall paintings, sculptures and similar forms have been reshaped. In these formations, myths met new possibilities of expression, so every civilization in every age created its own mythology and made it a part of art. Turkish mythologyhas been reinterpreted with a subjective perspective in the works of many artists with its unique structure. Reaching to the deep roots of Turkish mythology, legends, ancient beliefs, magic, and so on. Can Göknil is one of the artists who reflected cultural values in her works by using original printmaking techniques as a form of expression. In this research, the images of Turkish Mythology in Can Göknil’s original printmaking were examined in terms of form, content and expression and their reflections on Contemporary Turkish Printmaking were investigated. The research is a descriptive research and sceening method is used. In the research, printed and electronic resources were searched in accordance with the document analysis technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods. As a result of the research, it was seen that the artist created a narrative and symbolic style inspired by Turkish mythological subjects with his own methods and techniques in his original printmaking. The mythical objects in the artist’s works are mostly produced by means of symbols and images and are produced from the original printing techniques by engraving technique. It is seen that the original printmaking that the artist has put forward in terms of his contribution to the introduction of Turkish mythology and the transfer to contemporary interpretations are important.
