Amdo Tibetçe Qinghai-Gansu dil bandı içerisindeki en tesirli dillerden biridir. Tibetçenin bir lehçesidir. Tibet dili Sino-Tibet dil ailesinin Tibet –Burman grubu içindedir. Tibetçenin üç büyük lehçesi vardır: Merkezi Tibet Dili (Lahasa Ü-tsan); Kham Tibet Dili (doğu Tibet); Amdo Tibet (kuzey-doğu Tibet). Oldukça geniş bir coğrafyada ana dili veya ikinci dil olarak konuşulur. Amdo Tibet Dili tarihi süreç içerisinde kullanılmış lingua franka olmuş dominant dillerden biridir. Bu dil, günümüzde Çin’in Sichuan eyaletinin Kuzey bölgesinde; Gansu eyaletinin güneyinde ve Qinghai eyaletinde konuşulur. 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren Çince bölgede kuvvetini arttırmıştır. Ancak Amdo Tibetçe, bölgedeki Bodik olmayan dillerlerin gramerinde, pek çok kategoride izler bırakmıştır. Wutun, Manghuer, Bonan Dili ve Salar dili bunlardan en önemlileridir. Perspektif kategori, sıfat öbekleri ve pasif çatının kurulumu bu dillerde Amdo Tibetçeden son derece köklü şekilde etkilenmiştir.
Amdo Tibetan is one of the most influential languages in the Qinghai-Gansu language band (Sprachbund). It is a dialect of Tibetan. Tibetan language is in the Tibetan-Burman group of the Sino-Tibetan language family. Tibetan has three major dialects: Central Tibetan Language (Lahasa Ü-tsan); Kham Tibetan Language (eastern Tibet); Amdo Tibet (north-east Tibet). It is spoken as a mother tongue or a second language in a wide geography. The Tibetan language is one of the dominant languages used in the historical process. This language is now in the northern part of China's Sichuan Province; It is spoken in the southern province of Gansu and in the Qinghai Province. Since the second half of the 20th century, the Chinese language has increased its power in the region. However, Amdo Tibetan, in the grammar of non-Bodik languages in the region, it has left traces in many categories. Wutun, Manghuer, Bonan and Salar are the most important ones. Perspective category, construction of adjective phrases and construction of passive voice were strongly influenced by the language of Amdo Tibet in these languages.
