Gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmanın amacı; liselerde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin spora yönelik tutumlarını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Yozgat Sorgun ilçesinde liselerde öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Yozgat Sorgun ilçesinde öğrenim gören lise öğrencilerinden mail yoluyla gönderilen online anket çalışmasına gönüllü olarak katılım gösteren 282 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada tarama (survey) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin demografik özelliklerine (cinsiyet, sınıf, ailede spor yapma durumu, aile gelir düzeyi, haftalık harçlık, sosyal medya kullanma durumu, sosyal medyada geçirilen zaman) ilişkin bilgiler ‘’kişisel bilgi formu’’ ile elde edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin spora yönelik tutumlarını belirlemeye ilişkin bilgiler ise Şentürk (2015) tarafından geliştirilen spora yönelik tutum ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler istatistiki işlemler için SPSS 18 yazılım programına aktarılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde frekans analizi, yüzde analizi, aritmetik ortalama, t testi, Anova analizleri ve post hoc testleri kullanılmıştır. Gerçekleştirilen analizler sonucunda; cinsiyet, sınıf, ailede spor yapma durumu, aile gelir düzeyi, sosyal medyada geçirilen zaman değişkenlerine göre öğrencilerin spora yönelik tutumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Haftalık harçlık ve sosyal medya kullanma değişkenlerine göre ise öğrencilerin spora yönelik tutumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklar tespit edilmemiştir (p>0.05).

The aim of this research is; to determine the attitudes of high school students towards sports. The population of the study consists of the students studying in the high schools in the town of Sorgun in Yozgat in the academic year of 2018-2019. The sample of the study consisted of 282 students who volunteered to participate in the online questionnaire sent by mail from the high school students studying in the Yozgat Sorgun district during the 2018-2019 academic year. Survey method was used in the study. Information on the demographic characteristics of the students was obtained by ‘personal information form. The information about determining the attitudes of the students towards sports was obtained by the attitude scale towards sports developed by Şentürk (2015). The data were transferred to SPSS 18 software program for statistical operations. Frequency analysis, percentage analysis, arithmetic mean, t test, Anova analysis and post hoc tests were used to analyze the data. As a result of the analyzes performed; There were statistically significant differences between the attitudes of students towards sports according to gender, class, family sports, family income level and time spent on social media (p <0.05). Statistically significant differences were not determined according to the variables of weekly spending money and social media use (p> 0.05).
