تـهدف هذه الدّراسة إلـى التّعرّف إلـى الـجانب التّعليميّ لذوي الاحتياجات الـخاصّة، فـي مقاربة معرفيّة تعليميّة -بـمنهج وصفيّ تـحليليّ- تتمحور حول الكشف عن الإعاقات العقليّة فـي العمليّة التّعليميّة التّعلميّة؛ وذلك لـمعرفة الشّحنة الدّلاليّة التـي يـختزنـها مصطلح "ذوي الاحتياجات الـخاصّة"، وعلاقتها بـمصطلحات أخرى -تقع فـي الـحقل الدّلالـيّ نفسه. والوقوف على مظاهر الإعاقة العقليّة، وإلـى أيّ حدّ يـمكن الاستفادة من النّظريّات الـمتعلّقة باستـراتيجيّات التّعليم، من خلال تطبيقاتـها على ذوي الاحتياجات الـخاصّة؟ ومن أهمّ تلك الاستراتيجيّات استراتيجيّة أوزوبيل فـي تنظيم التّدريس. وقد توصّلت الدّراسة إلـى أنّ الـمفهوم يظلّ مشكلًا؛ لعدم توحيده ويفضّل استخدام "ذوي الاحتياجات الـخاصّة". وإنّ اهتمام علماء التّـربية وعلماء اللّسان التّطبيقيّ (Linguists) بالـمتعلّم قد أعطى الفرصة لدراسة ذوي الاحتياجات ، بوصفها تربيةً خاصّةً. ويفرض عليهم مراعاة هذه الفئة؛ لأنّـها تتطلّب عناية خاصّةً. كما توصّلت إلـى أنّ الإعاقة العقليّة من الإعاقات التـي تؤثّر تأثيـرًا كبيـرًا على الطّلبة من ذوي الاحتياجات الـخاصّة فـي التّعليم العالـي؛ نظرًا لارتباطها الوثيق بالعمليّات الذّهنيّة. وقد ختمت الدّراسة بـجملة من التّوصيات.
This study aims to identify the educational aspect of people with special needs, in didactical knowledge approach –in an analytical descriptive approach- that focuses on the detection of mental disabilities in the learning process; in order to identify the semantic amount stored by the term “special needs persons», and its relationship with other terms- that occurs in the semantic field itself. And identify the manifestations of mental disability, and to what extent we can benefit from the theories concerned with learning strategies, through their applications on special needs persons? And among the most important strategies we have the strategy of Ausubel in organizing teaching. This study concluded that the concept remains problematic; since it is not standardized term, it is preferable to use the term «people with special needs». Educators and applied linguists have given the opportunity to study people with special needs, as it is a special education. They are then required to take this category of people with a special consideration. It has also concluded that the mental disability is a disability that has a strong affect on the students with special needs in the higher education, due to its close link to mental processes. The study concluded with a series of recommendations.
