Bu araştırmanın temel amacı ülkemizde geçici eğitim merkezlerinde öğrenim gören Suriyeli öğrencilere eğitim veren dil öğreticilerinin karşılaştıkları sorunları tespit edip bu sorunlara çözüm önerileri getirmektir. Bununla birlikte dil öğretiminin merkezinde olan öğrencilerin karşılaştıkları veya karşılaşabileceği sorunların tespit edilerek dil öğretiminde bu sorunların ortadan kaldırılması amaçlanmıştır. Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretiminde karşılaşılan sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri ile ilgili birçok çalışma yapılırken bizim çalışmamızda ise problem özel bir seviyeye indirgenmiştir. Çalışma sadece bir millete mensup kişilere dil öğretirken hem karşılaşılan problemleri ele alması yönünden hem de dil öğrenen kişilerin bulundukları yaş seviyelerinin düşük olması yönünden önemlidir. Suriyeli öğrencilerin Türk eğitim sistemine entegre olma yolunda önemli bir görev üstlenen geçici eğitim merkezlerinde görev yapan dil öğreticilerinin sorunlarını tespit edip bu sorunlara çözüm üretmek yapılacak dil öğretiminin daha verimli gerçekleşmesini sağlayacaktır. Çalışmanın gerçekleştirildiği geçici eğitim merkezlerinde öğrenciler 1 ve 4. sınıf arasında öğrenimlerine devam etmekte olan öğrencilerdir. Geçici eğitim merkezlerinde öğrenimlerini tamamlayan öğrenciler, eğitim ve öğretimlerine Türk öğrenciler gibi normal okullarda devam etmektedir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma modeli olarak tarama modeli seçilmiştir. Çalışmada, belirlenen geçici eğitim merkezlerinde görev yapan dil öğreticilerine 12 sorudan oluşan açık uçlu ölçek uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri nitel araştırma yöntemine dayanan içerik analiziyle yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda geçici eğitim merkezlerinde görev yapan dil öğreticilerinin dil öğretirken karşılaştıkları sorunların genel olarak; dilin fonetik yapısından kaynaklandığı, öğrencinin Suriye’de almış olduğu eğitimi Türk eğitim sistemiyle özdeşleştirmeye çalıştığı, öğrencilerdeki hazırbulunuşluluğun ve duyuşsal boyutun farklı olması ve materyal eksikliklerinin bulunması dil öğreticilerinin dil öğretirken en çok karşılaştıkları problemler olarak görülmüştür.

The main aim of this research is to identify the problems faced by the language teachers who are teaching to the Syrian students in the temporary training centers in our country and to suggest solutions to these problems. Moreover, it is aimed to determine and to eliminate the problems that the students face/will face in the language education. While there are many studies about the problems faced in Turkish Teaching to foreigners, in our study the problem has been reduced to a specific level. The study is important in the sense that while teaching language to a single nation; both the problems encountered during language teaching are handled as well as the age of language learners is low. Identifying the problems of the language teachers who work in the temporary training centers, which play an important role in integrating the Syrian students into the Turkish education system, will ensure that the language teaching is more efficient. At the temporary training centers where the work is carried out, students are the ones who are continuing their education between the 1st and 4th grade. Students who complete their education at the temporary training centers continue their education and training in normal schools like Turkish students. Qualitative research method has been used in this study. The survey model has been chosen as the research model. In the study, a questionnaire consisting of 12 items has been applied to the language teachers who worked in the temporary training centers. The data have been analyzed by content analysis method which is based on the qualitative research method. As a result of the research, the problems seen as the most common by the language teachers who work in the temporary training centers in the language teaching are language phonetics, students’ trying to identify the education taken in Syria with the Turkish education system, the differentness of the learners’ readiness and sensational dimension, and the lack of material.
