Batı Tesirinde Gelişen Türk Edebiyatı’nın Tanzimat, Servet-i Fünûn, Fecr-i Âtî ve Millî Edebiyat devirlerinin ardından gelen evresi ise Cumhuriyet Devri Türk Edebiyatı’dır. Cumhuriyet devri her sahada olduğu gibi sanat ve edebiyat alanında da büyük yenilik, zenginlik ve çeşitlilik gösterir. Cumhuriyet Devri Türk Edebiyatı, Türk Edebiyatı’nın Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kuruluşundan itibaren günümüze kadar gelişen en son evresidir. İlk olarak, ‘Cumhuriyet Devri Türk Edebiyatı (1923-1939)’ hakkında kısa bilgi verilmiş ve ‘Cumhuriyet Devri Türk Edebiyatının Özellikleri’ anahatları ile maddeler halinde sıralanmıştır. Bundan sonra, ‘Ana Çizgileriyle Cumhuriyet Devri Türk Hikâye ve Romanına Teorik Bir Yaklaşım (1923-1939)’ adlı asıl konuya girilmiştir. Konu sırasıyla, ‘a-Cumhuriyet Devri Türk Hikâye ve Romanının Özellikleri (1923-1939)’, ‘b-Cumhuriyet Devri Türk Hikâye ve Romanının Sınıflandırılması’, ‘ba-Atatürk Devri Türk Hikâye ve Romanı (1923-1939)’, ‘baa-Atatürk Devri Türk Hikâye ve Romanının Özellikleri’ ve ‘bab-Atatürk Devri Türk Hikâye ve Romanının Temsilcileri’ anahatları ile ele alınmış ve her biri ikna edici literatür ile desteklenmiştir. Cumhuriyet devri Türk hikâye ve romanı, daha önceki devir hikâye ve romanı ile onun kuramsal yapısına çok şey borçlu olmasına rağmen, olay, şahıs kadrosu, zaman ve mekân algıları ile bakış açılarını derinden etkileyen yeni bir paradigma çerçevesinde yeniden formatlanarak oluşturulmuş ve gelişimini sürdürmüştür. Bu nedenle, başlangıç yıllarında önceki nesil yazarlarının etkin olduğu bu devir hikâye ve romanı, dönemin yeni tezleri bağlamında Batı’ya alabildiğine açık bir biçimde gelişimini sürdürmüştür. Bu devrin siyasal ve sosyal hayattaki hareketliliğinin bir yansıması olarak diğer edebî türlerde olduğu gibi hikâye ve romanda da belli başlı kuşaklar ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu dönemin diğer edebî türlerinde olduğu gibi Cumhuriyet Devri Türk hikâye ve romanı pek çok yazarı, sayısız konu ve temiyle adeta bir hikâye ve roman ormanını andırır. Ancak, bu devir Türk hikâye ve romanı üzerine yapılan pek çok çalışma ve incelemeye rağmen, bütünüyle tüketilmiş ve çözümlenmiş bir alan değildir. The stage following the periods of Tanzimat (Reforms), Servet-i Fünun (the Wealth of Sciences), Fecr-i Âtî (the Dawn of Future) ve Millî Edebiyat (National Literature) is the Turkish Literature of Republican Era. The Republican era shows great innovation, wealth and diversity in the field of art and literature as in every field. The Turkish Literature of Republican Era is the last stage of Turkish Literature developed from the founding of the Republic of Turkey to today. Firstly, brief information was given about ‘Turkish Literature of Republican Era (1923-1939)’ and ‘the Characteristics of Turkish Literature of the Republican Era’ were listed in case of substances with its main lines. After that, It has been entered to the main topic articled ‘A Theorical Approach to the Turkish Story and Novel of the Republic Era with Its Guidelines (1923-1939)’. The subject, respectively, 'a-The Features of Turkish Story and Novel of Republican Era (1923-1939)', 'b- The Classification of Turkish Story and Novel of Republican Era', ‘ba-Turkish Story and Novel of Ataturk’s Period (1923-1939)', 'baa-The Characteristics of Turkish Story and Novel of Ataturk's Period' and 'bab-Representatives of the Turkish Story and Novel of Ataturk's Period' were dealt with, and each was supported by a convincing literature. Although the Turkish story and novel of the Republic era have owed a lot to the story and novel of the previous period and its theorical struction, they have made as reformatting and continued their development within the frame of a new paradigma which are effected the event, personal staff, the perceptions of time and space and point of views. Therefore, in the early years, the story and novel of this period that the previous generation of writers were active, have continued most clearly to the West its development in the context of a new thesis of the period. As a reflection of mobility in the political and social life of this era, it has also emerged certain generations, as in other literary genres. As it is in other literary genres of this period, Turkish story and novel of the Repuplican Era is reminiscent of a story and a novel forest with many writers, countless subjects and themes. However, this period is not a completely consumed and resolved field, although many studies on Turkish story and novel. In this article, it were investigated the 1923-1939 years of the Turkish story and novel of Republic period, that is, the Turkish story and novel of Atatürk period from the theoretical perspective in generations.
