Bu makalede, Ahmet Yakupoğlu’nun resimlerinde; Geleneksel Kütahya evlerinin 1940’lı yıllardan günümüze (2018) nasıl bir değişim geçirdiğini tespit etmeye çalışılacaktır. Ahmet Yakupoğlu’nun günümüze birer belge niteliğinde bırakmış olduğu resimleri üzerinden; Kütahya’nın geçmişten günümüze getirmiş olduğu, kent kimliği üzerine bir araştırmayı içermektedir. Bu çalışmada; Geleneksel Kütahya Evlerinin Sivil Mimari özellikleri ile birlikte Ahmet Yakupoğlu’nun resimlerindeki Kütahya şehrinin taşımış olduğu maddi ve manevi unsurları analiz ederek, şehrin kimliği ele alınmıştır. Resimlerinde öncelikle Kütahya ve çevresindeki tabiatı resmetmiş, kaybolan sokak ve tarihi yapıları günümüze taşıyan bir ressam olarak kültür ve sanatımıza büyük bir hizmet vermiştir. Kütahya’nın dışında başta İstanbul olmak üzere, Konya, Bursa, İznik, Antalya, Amasya gibi birçok şehirden, artık birer belgesel vasfını taşıyan resimler yapmıştır. Ahmet Yakupoğlu'nun kopya resimler hariç, iki bine yakın orijinal resmi bulunmaktadır. Bin kadar yağlı boya tablosunda, Kütahya ve civarının sokaklarını, eski eserlerini, mesîre yerlerini, insan tiplerini tespit etmiş ve bu koleksiyonun daimi teşhire sunulduğu bir ziyaret mahalli oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada; literatür tarama modeli ile nitel yöntemlerden gözlem ve fotoğraf çekimlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgular kısmında Ahmet Yakupoğlu’nun1940’lı yıllardan itibaren resimlerini yapmış olduğu Kütahya ve konakları incelenmiştir. Günümüzdeki(2018) mevcut Kütahya ev ve konaklarının fotoğrafandırılması yapılarak resimler ve fotoğraflar karşılaştırılarak somut veriler elde edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Kütahya şehrini köklü kültürel geçmişi ile tasvir etmek imkânsız olsa da, sanatçının günümüze kadar bir belge şeklinde bıraktığı Sokak ve ev resimlerini tanımlamak mümkündür. Kütahya şehri, Ahmet Yakupoğlu'nun doğduğu ve hala yaşadığı önemli kültürlere merkezi olmuştur. Makalenin konusu olan Ahmet Yakupoğlu'nun resimlerinde Kütahya evleri sanatçının ulusal anlamda ve eşsiz bir karaktere sahip olması açısından önemlidir. Sonuç olarak Ahmet Yakupoğlu’nun1940’lı yıllarda resimlemeye başladığı Kütahya evlerinden geriye ayakta kalan geleneksel sivil mimarisinin ve şehir kimliğinin bugünkü geldiği nokta fotoğraflarla ve resimlerle karşılaştırılarak irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Kütahya evlerinin %30’unun restore edilerek ayakta kaldığı ve yaşadığı gözlemlenirken, terk edilmiş sahipsiz durumdaki boş ev ve konakların %70’inin ise yıkılmaya yüz tuttuğu tespit edilmiştir. Bundan sonraki süreçte maddi ve manevi değerleriyle beraber gelecek nesillere miras olarak nasıl daha iyi koruyup aktarılabilir soruları üzerinde önerilerde bulunmaya çalışılmıştır.

In this article, the pictures of Ahmet Yakupoğlu, the traditional Kütahya houses from the 1940s to the present (2018), will be tried to determine what kind of change will be made. On the identity of the city brought by Kütahya from past to present, it contains a survey with the pictures Ahmet Yakupoğlu left as a document to present day. In this study, the civilian architectural characteristics of traditional Kütahya houses and the physical and spiritual characteristics of the city of Kütahya were analyzed in the paintings of Ahmet Yakupoğlu and the identity of the city was taken into consideration. In his paintings he drew the nature of Kütahya and its surroundings and served our culture and art as a painter carrying Street and historical buildings to our day. Besides Kutahya, he took photographs from many cities such as Istanbul, Konya, Bursa, Iznik, Antalya and Amasya, which now have documentary qualities. There are about two thousand original paintings, except copies of Ahmet Yakupoğlu. Approximately a thousand oil paintings of Kütahya and surrounding streets, old monuments, promenade places, human species have been identified and this collection has become a permanent exhibition area. In this study, literature scanning model and qualitative methods were used for observation and photography. The houses of Kutahya and Ahmet Yakupoğlu in the results of the survey have been painted since 1940. Today (2018) photographs of Kütahya's houses and houses have been made, pictures and photographs have been compared and concrete data have been tried to be obtained. Although it is impossible to describe Kutahya city with its deep-rooted cultural background, it is possible to define the street and House paintings that the artist has left in the form of a document. Kutahya City, Ahmet Yakupoğlu was born and still lived in the center of important cultures. In the paintings of Ahmet Yakupoğlu, the subject of the article, Kütahya houses are important for the artist to have a national and unique character. As a result, the Houses of Kütahya, where Ahmet Yakupoğlu started painting in the 1940s, were examined by comparing traditional civil architecture and urban identity with photographs and Paintings. It was observed that 30% of Kütahya houses were restored and survived, and 70% of empty houses and mansions were abandoned. In the next process, we tried to make recommendations on how to protect and transfer material and moral values to future generations as a legacy.
