Gerek batı düşünce tarihinde gerekse İslâm düşünce dünyasında ahlâk düşüncesinin temel problemleri bulunmaktadır. Bunlar irade ve hürriyet ilişkisi, kaza ve kaderin ahlâkla ilişkisi, adalet prensibi, hayır ve şer problemi gibi hususlardır. Bu probleme birçok disiplin, örneğin; tasavvuf, kelam ve felsefe kendi perspektiflerinden bakmıştır. Bu çalışma ile, İbnü'l Arabî'de insanın filleri, bilhassa hayır ve şer açısından, belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu temel amaca dayalı olarak, araştırmada şu sorulara cevap aranmaktadır: Hayır ve şer nedir? İnsanın filleri nasıl meydana gelmektedir? Kötülüğün kaynağı nedir? İnsanın davranışı özü gereği kötü müdür? İnsan sorumlu bir varlık mıdır? İnsan özgür müdür? Çalışmaya İbnü'l Arabî'de hayır ve şerrin tanımı, irade, insanın fillerinin mahiyeti ve insan-Tanrı ilişkisi dahil edildi. İnsanın özü gereği kötülenmeyeceğini, yalnızca ondan çıkan davranışların kötülenmesi gerektiğini, bununla birlikte insanın sorumlu olduğunu ifade eden İbnü'l Arabî, kulların fiillerinin, her ne olursa olsun tekvini emre uygun olarak meydana gelmesinden hareketle hayır olduğunu belirtmekte, hayır olmayı da var olmakla izaha çalışmaktadır. İbnü'l Arabî, kulun fiillerinde özgür olduğunu belirtmekte ve bunu Kur'an'a dayandırmaktadır. Sonuç olarak, İbnü'l Arabî, ahlâkî düşüncenin temel problemleri bağlamında insanın fiillerine dair düşünceleriyle felsefenin bu önemli ve tartışmalı alanına önemli katkılarda bulunmaktadır.

Whether in the history of Western thought, or in the world of Islamic thought, there are fundamental problems of moral thinking. These are the relationship between will and freedom, the relationship of accident and fate to morality, the principle of justice, the problem of goodness and evil. This probing has many disciplines, for example; Sufism, teoloji and philosophy have looked at their own perspectives. With this work, it was aimed to determine the actions of man in Ibnu'l Arabi, in particular in terms of goodness and evil. Based on this basic objective, the following questions are sought in the research: What is goodness and evil? How do people behave? What is the source of evil? Is man's behavior bad by nature? Is human being a responsible entity? Is human free? The definition of goodness and evil in the work of Ibnu'l Arabi included will, the nature of man's behavior, and the relationship between man and God. Ibnu'l 'Arabi, who expresses that human beings are not to be corrupted, that only the behaviors that come from it must be erased, and that man is responsible, expresses that the actions of the servants are a kindness in the act according to the order of the tribe, whatever it may be. Ibnu'l Arabi expresses that he is free in the behavior of man and is based on the Qur'an. As a result, Ibnu'l Arabi has made important contributions to this important and controversial field of philosophy with his thoughts on human behavior in the context of the fundamental problems of moral reasoning.
