Toplumsal eşitsizliklerin en önemli belirleyicilerinden bir tanesi zenginliktir. 1980’den günümüze Türk Sineması’nda ülkede değişen siyasal, ekonomik ve toplumsal yapının, değişen zenginlik olgusunun ve zenginliği somut olarak gösteren yaşam tarzlarının nasıl temsil edildiğinin araştırılması ise bu çalışmanın problemini oluşturmaktadır. Ele alınan filmlerde toplumsal dinamiklerin analizi ile zenginliğin toplumsal temsillerinin izleri sürülmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında Türk Sinemasında 1980-2015 yılları arasında çekilen ve zenginlik temsili içeren filmler betimsel analiz yoluyla incelenmiştir. Zenginlik temsili, temsillerdeki dönüşüm ve toplumsal yapı ile ilişkisine ilişkin genel bir çerçeve çizilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma çerçevesinde ulaşılabildiği kadarıyla 1980-2015 arası dönemde toplam 2375 film çekilmiştir. Yazılı kaynaklardan yapılan ilk tarama sonucunda bu filmlerden 559 tanesinde zenginlik temsilleri olduğu çıkarımına ulaşılmış, ancak filmlerin tamamına ulaşıp izlemek mümkün olmamıştır. Çalışma kapsamında elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda Türkiye’de 1980 sonrasında siyasi ekonomik, toplumsal ve kültürel alanda yaşanan gelişmelerin, Türk Sineması’nı etkilediği; 1980 sonrasında çekilen filmlerin toplumsal ve kültürel alanda çekildiği dönemde yaşanan dönüşümleri yansıttığı; 1980 sonrası dönemde çekilen filmlerdeki zenginlik temsillerinin dönemin ekonomik, toplumsal ve kültürel yapısındaki değişimler doğrultusunda farklılaştığı görüşmüştür.

One of the most important determinants of social inequality is wealth. The concern of this study is to examine how political, economic and social structures that have changed in the country since 1980, changing phenomenon of wealth and lifestyles showing wealth concretelyare represented in Turkish Cinema. Remains of social represantations are tried to find with the analysis of social dynamics in films which are handled. In that study, the films made between 1980-2015 and containing the representation of wealth in Turkish Cinema are examined with descriptive analysis method. A general frame is tried to explain about wealt representation, transformation in representations and relationship with social structure. Attained result in that study, the period of between 1980-2015, 2375 film have been made in Turkey. Consequence of first scanning through written funds, 559 of those films have wealth representations howewer it couldn’t have been possible to reach and watch all of them. As a result of evaluating the data in the study, it is seen that political, economic, social and cultural developments have been effected Turkish Cinema after 1980; in films have been made after the period of 1980, wealth representations have been differentiated through changes about economic, social and cultural structures of that period. In the light of all those datas, it is possible to conclude that in every period of Turkish Cinema, wealth representations have been encountered and wealth has been represented by the help of concrete indicators.
