The basis of the Turkish people having a great place and precaution in the history of the world lies in the fact that this nation is fed from the culture of many nations from west to east, south to north and adds diversity to its own culture. In The Turks whose oral traditions prevail have preserved the existence of cultural values of mythological items, myths, epics, beliefs and ancestral descendants, even though cultural continuity can not be ensured because of the late written culture. Studies about mythology, an important part of cultural continuity, begins with the influence of Greek mythology. Investigations about Turkish mythology began before the Republic and continued to increase as much as the day-to-day. It is undeniable that the mythological elements, which are a big part of cultural heritage, contribute to the field of art and design expressions. The effect of these values is great in the process of creating original and meaningful logo designs in the field of graphics growing simultaneously with rapidly evolving technology. Cultural and mythological values are reciprocatively alive in the society with artistic products and graphical expressions. In this study, in order to live the cultural values of the Turks, who have a long history, today and in the future, The repercussions of the symbolism of bird figurines, which have an important place in Turkish mythology, in their recent use of graphic design logo have been examined. In particular, bird figures in the Turkish mythology were investigated importance for the Turks, and interest in today's institutional logos has been observed. In Turkish mythology, an eagle figurine, which is a symbol of talisman and glory, has been found in eagle logos as double head and eared eagle. However, researches demonstrate many bird figurines except the eagle are also considered sacred protective talisman in Turkish mythology. These birds symbols, which have an important place in Turkish mythology, are seen to reflect on today's logos in a limited way and it is important to take more place in designs in terms of the values they represent. As a result; In this research was aimed to emphasize the necessity of more use of mythological symbols, especially bird figures, in the fields of graphic design for transfer to the next generation and further investigation in art-design fields and to inspire new design studies.
