Hulagu Han, Abaka Han and Ahmed Han from Ilkhanid Emperors According to Şebankarei


Muhammed b. Ali b. Muhammed Şebânkâreî, who was born in 697/1298 in Şebakare city of Persian State, was one of the poets in the palace of latest Ilkhanid Emperor Ebu Sa’id. In addition to his poesy, he is also known for his work "Mecma'u'l-Ensâb Fi't Tevârî" which was written in Persian and he wrote "Mecma'u'l-Ensâb Fi't Tevârî" dedicoraty to Ilkhanid vizier Gıyâseddîn Muhammed b. Reşîdüddîn Fazlullâh in 733/1332-33. Because the first copy of the source was lost during the plunder of Reb-i Reşidi, Şebankarei started to rewrite it and completed in Cemaziyelevvel in 738 (December 1337) 743/1343 dated another copy, which the author presented to Pir Hüseyin from Çobanlar (Süldüzler) family belonging to Mongols and also we are studying on, is available. These two copies have existed until today. In this study, periods of Hulagu Han, Abaka Han and Ahmed Han from Ilkhanid Emperors in "Mecma'u'l-Ensâb Fi't Tevârî" of Şebankarei who wrote quick facts about Ilkhanids in a literary language.
