Bu çalışmanın amacı Dezavantajlı Özel Yetenekli Çocuklar için Zenginleştirilmiş Destek Eğitim Programı Projesi hakkında, proje katılımcılarının görüşlerini incelemektir. Proje 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında yürütülmüş olup; proje kapsamında verilen eğitimler konusunda öğrenci, aile ve öğretmenlerden görüş alınmıştır. Proje başlığındaki ‘’özel yetenek’’ kavramı çalışma kapsamında ‘’üstün zekâlı’’ kavramı yerine kullanılmaktadır. Proje İstanbul ili içerisindeki sosyal dezavantajlı ilçeler olan ve İstanbul Bölge Kalkınma Planında (İSTKA, 2014) dezavantajlı mahalleler olarak geçen Esenler, Bayrampaşa, Güngören ve Küçükçekmece ilköğretim okullarındaki 2, 3, 4 ve 5. Sınıflarda eğitim gören 7-10 yaş arasındaki 300 üstün zekâlı öğrenci; 300 üstün zekâlı öğrencinin ebeveynleri ve 300 üstün zekâlı öğrencinin 60 öğretmeni üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada DÖYÇİZDEP projesi konusundaki görüşler ele alındığı için çalışma deseni bir durum çalışması olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “Eğitim Değerlendirme Anketi” ile ölçülmüştür. Eğitim Değerlendirme Anketi; beş adet likert tipi (evet-hayır-kısmen) ve iki adet açık uçlu olmak üzere toplamda yedi adet sorudan oluşmaktadır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak frekans ve yüzde değerleri ile sunulmuştur. Sonuç olarak projede eğitim alan öğretmenlerin %86.8’lik bir oranla eğitimden memnun kaldığı ve BEP-BÖP hazırlama, destek eğitim odası ve düşünme becerileri entegrasyonu konusunda daha fazla bilgi edinmek istedikleri; daha fazla uygulamaya ihtiyaç duydukları bulunmuştur. Ebeveynlerin ise %93,5’lik bir oranla eğitimden memnun kaldıkları; çocuğa rehber olma ve eğitim olanakları konusunda daha çok bilgi edinmek istedikleri; eğitimler için daha çok zaman ve materyal ayrılması gerektiğinin altını çizdikleri bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin ise %91,8’lik bir oranla eğitimden memnun kaldıkları; matematik, İngilizce ve fen bilgisi derslerinde daha fazla eğitim almak istedikleri ve sınıf yönetimi konusunda öğretmenlerin desteklenmesi gerektiğini belirttikleri bulunmuştur.

The focus of this study is to examine the views of participants about the project “Enrichment Program for the Disadvantaged Gifted and Talented”. The project was carried out in Esenler, Bayrampasa, Gungoren and Kucukcekmece which were identified socially disadvantaged districts at Istanbul Regional Development Plan (IDA, 2014) in 2014-2015. The participants were the students living that districts in total 300 from 2,3,4,5 grades ages between 7-10 years who identified as gifted and talented; their parents and their 60 teachers. In order to investigate the views about EPfDGT project, the study is designed as a case study. The data of the research is measured by the "educational evaluation survey" developed by the researcher. Education evaluation survey; consisted of seven questions in total, five of which are likert types (yes-no-partly) and two open-ended. The data is presented with frequency and percentage values using descriptive analysis method. As a result, it was seen that the teachers who were educated in the project satisfied with the education with a rate of 86.8% and they wanted to learn more about preparing Individual Education Plan and teaching at resource rooms also integration of thinking skills into curriculum; they also stated that they need more practice. Parents were satisfied with the education with a rate of 93.5%; they wanted more information about guiding their children and educational possibilities; they also underlined that for parents’ education more time and material needed. 91.8% of the students were satisfied with the education; that they stated that more courses on Mathematics, English and scienceneeded and also teachers should be supported about class management.
