İlâhî dinlerde Rabb’in insanlara mesajı Peygamberler vasıtasıyla ulaştırılır. Peygamberler aynı zamanda insanlar için örnek teşkil ederler. Vahiyle detaylandırılmayan hususlarda insanları bilgilendirirler. Ve onların yaşadıkları dönemde insanlar anlayamadıkları veya merak ettikleri konuları onlardan sorup öğrenmişlerdir. Burada bahsedilen ve edilmeyen pek çok rol ve özelliklerinden dolayı onlar bu dinlerde, özel öneme sahip insanlardır. Bu özel öneme binaen ilâhî dinlere mensup toplumlarda Peygamberleri anlatan, öven manzum ve mensur eserler oluşturulmuştur. Zira bu dinlerde Allah’a inanmak ve O’nu sevmek; O’nun Peygamberlerine inanmayı ve onları sevmeyi de gerektirir. Bu inanç ve sevginin doğal yansımasının toplumun aynası olarak nitelendirilen edebiyatta olması ise elbette yadsınamaz. Bu çerçevede ilâhî dinler incelendiğinde İslâm dininde Hz. Muhammed(as) ile ilgili olarak; bilgi veren, onu öven manzum ve mensur pek çok türde ve sayıda eser olduğu görülmektedir. Mevlid de bu tür eserlerden biridir. Mevlidlerde Hz. Muhammed’in(as) hayatı manzum olarak anlatılmakta ve O övülmektedir. Asırlar boyu Peygamber sevgisinin yansıması olarak pek çok dilde Mevlid kaleme alındığı, bunların bazen devlet düzeyindeki şaşaalı bazen de daha sade törenlerde okunduğu bilinmektedir. Bunlar arasında en meşhur olan ise Süleyman Çelebi’nin kaleme aldığı “Vesîletü’n-Necât” isimli eserdir. Biz bu tebliğde öncelikle ‘Mevlid’ konusunda bilgi verip, sonra diğer ilâhî dinlerde(Yahudilik, Hıristiyanlık) Mevlid benzeri metinler var mıdır?, varsa muhteva ve kullanım yeri açısından Mevlid metinleriyle benzerlik arz ederler mi? Gibi sorulara cevap arayıp, benzer metinleri karşılaştırmalı olarak ele almaya çalışacağız. Aynı zamanda hem metinlerin hem de bu kapsamda yapılan törenlerin fotoğraflarını ilave ederek çalışmamızı görsel olarak da mümkün olduğu kadar zenginleştireceğiz.

Because of the many roles and features that are not mentioned or mentioned in this article, they are those who have special qualities in these religions. Due to this special importance, poems and proses about Prophets have been created in communities belonging to divine religions. Because in these religions, to believe in God and loveHim; It also requires believing in His Prophets and not loving them. This faith and the natural reflection of the lover will of course manifest themselves in literatüre. In this frame, there are many works of poetry and prose which praise the Prophet Muhammad in his Islamic religion and give information about his life. Mevlid is one of these works.Prophet Muhammad is praised and his life is expressed as poetical in the Mevlids. Many Works have been written about the love of the prophet for centuries. Some of them were readed in flashy state ceremonies and others in simple ceremonies. The most famous of these is the "Vesîletü'n-Necât" written by Süleyman Çelebi.
