İnsanlık tarihi boyunca savaşın olmadığı bir dönem görülmemiştir. Savaşlar üzerine sayısız kitap yazılmıştır. Edebiyat alanında ise savaş roman, şiir, deneme, tiyatro vs. türlerine de birçok alt başlığı ile birlikte tema olmuştur. Edebi eserlerin içinde yer alan savaş teması genelde topluma ve bireye olumsuz etkileri ve savaşın eleştirisi olmuştur. Örneğin herkes tarafından ismen dahi olsa iyi bilinen ve dünya klasikleri arasında yer alan 19. yy.’da yayınlanmış savaş romanları arasında Tolstoy’un Rusya’daki Napolyon Savaşını anlattığı “Savaş ve Barış” isimli romanı savaşın topluma getirdiği yıkımı en güzel ifade eden eserler arasındadır Kore toplumunda 1950’ler kargaşa dönemi olarak bilinmektedir. 1910 yılında Japonların boyunduruğu altına girip 1945 yılında Japon işgalinden kurtulan Kore toplumunda bağımsızlığa kavuşmanın sevinci büyük olsa da bu sevinç uzun sürmemiştir. Bunun sebebi de 1950 yılından itibaren üç yıl süren Kore Savaşı’nın patlak vermesidir. Bu savaş Kore toplumunu maddi ve manevi yönden derinden etkilemiştir. Bu etkilerin Kore Edebiyatına yansıması nasıl olmuştur düşüncesiyle bu çalışma yapılmıştır. Çalışmada Kore Savaşının edebiyata yansıması roman ve şiir türü üzerinden incelenmiştir. Çalışmada toplum gerçeklerine eser aracılığı ile ulaşmakla kalınmamış savaşa giden yol ve dönemin toplum yapısına da kısaca değinilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışma sonucunda savaşın çıkış sebebinin eserlerde işlenilmediği genel olarak savaş sonrası yaşanan sıkıntıların ele alındığı görülmüştür. Birinci bölümde savaş öncesi Kore Yarımadasının durumuna genel olarak değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Savaş Döneminde Kore’nin ortamına üçüncü bölümde ise savaşın Kore edebiyatında roman ve şiir türü üzerine yansıması ele alınmıştır. Bu yansıma eserlerden örnekler verilerek daha ayrıntılı hale getirilmiştir.

There has not been a period in human history where there has been no war. Numerous books have been written about wars. War in the field of literature; novel, poem, essay, theater, etc. The genre has also become a theme with many subheadings.The battle theme in literary works has been the criticism of collective and individual negative effects of war. For example, among all well-known and world class warlords published in the 19th century, Tolstoy's novel "War and Peace", which is about the Napoleonic War in Russia, is one of the most beautiful expressions of the destruction brought by the war. In Korean society, the 1950s are known as the period of turmoil. Although the Koreans were joyfull for getting independence, which fell under the Japanese rule in 1910 and survived the Japanese invasion in 1945, this joy did not last long. The reason is that the Korean War, which went on for three years since 1950, had erupted. This war deeply affected Korean society in both material and spiritual direction. This work has been done with the thought of how these influences are reflected in Korean Literature. In this study, the reflection of the Korean War's literary repertoire has been studied through the type of novel and poetry. In this study, not only the reality of the society through these works has been studied but what sparked the war and the society during this period has also been briefly mentioned. In addition, at the end of the study, the general post-war troubles, in which the cause of the war was not handled in the works, have been considered. In the first part, the situation of the Korean peninsula before the war was mentioned in general. In the second part, the environment of Korea during the War period has been studied. In the third part, the reflection of the war on the type of novel and poetry in Korean literature is discussed. This reflection has been made more detailed by giving examples from these works.
