“Tebliğ”, bir konunun, bir mesajın veya vahyedilmiş bir dinin insanlara duyurulması ve tanıtılması faaliyetidir. Tebliğ faaliyeti, belli bir plan ve program dâhilinde yapılmayıp samimiyet ve doğruluk ilkesine dayanmaktadır. Bu anlamda tebliğ kelimesi, tam anlamıyla olmasa da Hz. İsa ve Hıristiyanlığın ilk dönemlerindeki misyon kelimesiyle örtüşmektedir. Fakat Hıristiyan misyonerliğinin kurucusu kabul edilen Pavlus’tan itibaren misyonerlik kavramı, belli bir plan ve program bağlamında insanların Hıristiyanlaştırılması anlamında kullanılmış ve Hıristiyan teolojisinin bir parçası olmuştur. Çalışmada, misyoner ve tebliğ kavramlarının tarihi gelişimi üzerinde durulacaktır. Bu kavramların ilk dönemlerdeki anlaşılma biçimi ile daha sonraki dönemlerdeki anlaşılma biçimleri ortaya konulacak ve bu kavramlarla paralel anlama sahip alternatif kavramlar hakkında da bilgi verilecektir. Ayrıca çalışmamızda Hıristiyanlıktaki misyonerlik anlayışı ile İslamiyet’teki tebliğ kavramları arasında bir karşılaştırma yapılacaktır. Böylece misyoner karakterli dinler ifadesiyle Hıristiyan teolojisinin anladığı anlamda bir misyonerlik kastediliyorsa, İslam’ın tebliğ kavramına yüklediği anlam açısından bu tasnifte durum ve konumunu ortaya konulacaktır.
The rescript is an activity in which an issue or a message or a revealed religion are announced and introduced to the people. This is activity is not conducted within a certain plan or program but is based on the principle of sincerity and truth. In this sense, the word rescript corresponds with the word missionary in the first period of Prophet Jesus and Christianity, though not literally meaning. However, from Pavlus who is accepted as the founder of the Christian missionary, the concept of missionary has been used in the sense of Christianization of people in the context of a specific plan and program and has become a basic element of Christian theology. In this study, we will focus on the historical development of missionary and rescript concepts. The way to understanding of these concepts in the first period and the way to understanding of them in the following period will be revealed and alternative concepts having parallel meaning with these concepts will be introduced. In addition, in our presentation, a comparison will be made between the aspect of missionary in Christianity and the concept of rescript in İslam. Thus, if a missionary is meant as the sense of Christian theology with the expression of religions with missionary character,with regard to the meaning imposed to the concept of invitation and rescript by Islam, the status will be revealed in this classification.
