Çalışmanın amacı, özel eğitim öğretmenlerine web 2.0 araçlarını kullanarak öğretim programındaki dersleri daha etkin ve etkileşimli olarak sunmalarını sağlayan dijital öğretim materyalleri üretebilme becerisi kazandırmaktır. Çalışmanın diğer bir amacı da, özel eğitim öğretmenlerine sunulan web 2.0 eğitiminin etkililiğini ve eğitimle ilgili öğretmen görüşlerini araştırmaktır. Nicel tasarım olarak deney öncesi modellerden tek grup ön test / son test modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 18 özel eğitim öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin teknik olarak herhangi bir ön beceriye sahip olmaları beklenmemiş, temel Office programlarını kullanabilen ve internette gezinti yapabilen herkes eğitime katılma hakkına sahip olmuştur. Eğitimler Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Bölümü’nde yürütülmüştür ve bölüm öğretim üyeleri tarafından ders içerikleri sunulmuştur. Dersler sırasında teori kısmında öncelikle somut örneklerle zenginleştirilmiş sunumlar yapılmıştır, ardından uygulama kısmında özel eğitim öğretmenlerinden web 2.0 araçlarını kullanarak yeni dijital öğretim materyali geliştirmeleri istenmiştir. Eğitimin etkinliği, eğitim öncesi ve sonrası yapılan akademik başarı testi ile ölçülmüş ve eğitim sonunda uygulanan görüşme formu ile katılımcı öğretmenlerin memnuniyet düzeyi araştırılmıştır. Bulgulara göre, öğretmenlerin ön test ve son test puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark vardır. Buna ek olarak, öğretmenler öğrenme hedefleri, akademik personel-öğrenci etkileşimi kalitesi ve öğretim yöntemleri konularında tam puan vererek olumlu görüş bildirmişlerdir.

The aim of the study is to give special education teachers an ability of producing instructional digital materials, which enable them to present the subjects in the curriculum more effectively and interactively, by using web 2.0 tools. Another aim of the study is to increase the awareness of them about existing digital applications regarded with special education and the integration ability of these materials to their lessons. For this reason, an education about integration of web 2.0 tools to special education field was organized. Sampling of the study consists of 18 special education teachers. During the lessons, firstly instructors made presentations enriched with concrete examples, then special education teachers were asked to develop new instructional material by using web 2.0 tools. In addition, the effectiveness of the education was measured by the academic achievement test conducted before and after the training, and the satisfaction level of the participant teachers was investigated with the interview form applied at the end of the training. According to the findings, there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores of the teachers. In addition, teachers reported positive opinions by giving full points to the questions about learning achievements, the academic staff-student interaction quality and teaching methods.
