The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between participants' life satisfaction and variables of religious dogmatism and feeling the effect of religion and to analyze this relationship in depth through open-ended questions. In this study, sequential explanatory mixed methods design was used. First, quantitative data were collected and analyzed, and then the results obtained from the quantitative data were tried to be explained in depth with qualitative data. At the initial quantitative stage of the study, data were collected from randomly selected 132 students (98 female, 34 male) who were enrolled in Nizip Education Faculty (Social Studies Education, 60 students - 45.5%; Elementary Education, 30 students - 22.7% and Mathematics Education, 41 students - 31.1%). In order to be able to apply the qualitative part and to obtain more effective results, 20 participants from the original sample were identified and qualitative (open ended) questions were introduced. Women's participants have higher life satisfaction, higher religion outcomes, and higher religious dogmatic scores than men. In addition, while the life satisfaction of the gender variable [t(130)=0.252, p=0.80] did not show any significant difference according to the average of the points; [t(130)=2.627, p<0.01] and religious dogmatic [t(130)=2.254, p<0.02] points of the effect of religion. Participants whose income level was 2000 TL or more had higher life satisfaction than participants whose income level was below 2000 TL; the effect of religion is lower and the average of dogmatic points of religion is lower. However, the difference between the average score of the students whose income level is below 2000 TL and the average of the average score of the students whose income level is 2000 TL or more [t(129)=-1.294, p=0.19], feel the effect of religion [t(129)=0.114, p=0.90], and religious dogmatism [t(129)=0.233, p=0.81].
