Öğretmen yetiştirme ülkemizde eğitim alanında en çok tartışılan konuların başında gelmektedir. Bu çerçevede Türkiye’de öğretmen yetiştirilmesi konusunda birçok çalışma gerçekleştirilmiş, zaman içerisinde öğretmen ihtiyacını karşılayabilmek için bazı fakültelerin öğrencilerine formasyon eğitimi verilmiştir. Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretmenliği formasyon programında yer alan derslerden biri de “Özel Öğretim Yöntemleri”dir. Öğretmen yetiştirme programları içinde yer alan bu ders, daha çok alana yönelik öğretim uygulamalarıyla ilgilidir. Bu ders öğretmen adaylarının alanı tanımaları, alanla ilgili becerilere sahip olmaları ve bunları geliştirmeleri; alana yönelik yöntem, teknik ve stratejileri öğrenmeleri, öğrendiklerini uygulamaya dönüştürmeleri açısından önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, eğitim fakültelerinde formasyon eğitimi alan Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretmeni adaylarının “Özel Öğretim Yöntemler”i derslerine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek ve bu derslerden elde edecekleri verimin artırılması için çeşitli öneriler ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma tekniklerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, erişilebilir örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiş olup katılımcılar, 2014-2015 eğitim öğretim yılında Çukurova Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören toplam 15 Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretmeni adayından oluşmaktadır. Elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adayları, “Özel Öğretim Yöntemleri” dersinin ilerideki meslek yaşantılarına katkı sağlayacağını belirtmişler ve bu ders işlenirken yöntem ve teknikler, alana özgü kavramlar gibi konuların üzerinde daha fazla durulması gerektiğini vurgulamışlardır. Ayrıca öğretmen adayları genel olarak derse ayrılan sürenin yeterli olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.

Formation programs for teachers was opened by Turkish Council of High Education for those who were not graduated from faculty of education. However, there are still ongoing debates about some issues such as the duration of these programs, the content of the courses given, the quality of instructors teaching these courses. This issue is concerned with the prospective teachers of Turkish language and literature in private. One of the courses included in the formation program of teaching Turkish language and literature is “Special Teaching Methods”. This lesson is important in that prospective teachers could recognize about the field, they have the related skills about it, they could learn the methods, techniques and strategies about it and they have the right qualification to turn these strategies into practise. The purpose of this paper is to determine prospective teachers’ opinions studying on pedagogical formation training about the course “Special Teaching Method” and to put forward some suggestions in order to increase the efficiency of the lessons they take. In the study, as one of the qualitative data collection methods, semi-structured interview form was used. The participants of the study were determined through the accessibility sample method and they consist of 15 pre-service Turkish language and literature teachers studying formation training in Cukurova University in 2014-2015 education year. The data collected were evaluated through the content analysis method. At the end of the study, the prospective teachers stated that the course of special teaching methods would be beneficial for their academic career in the future and underlined that the issues such as methods and techniques and the terms about the literature should be emphasized more. The prospective teachers also specified the allocated time for the lessons is sufficient in general.
