Evlerin ana kütlesi içerisinde yer alan sadece asıl giriş kapıları ve avlu giriş kapıları değerlendirilmiştir. Girişler üzerindeki kitabelerden evler genellikle XIX. yy.’a tarihlendiği ve bu doğrultuda süslemenin Rönesans, Klasik, Barok, Art Nouveau gibi eklektik üslup ağırlıklı olduğu görülmektedir. Talas’ın tarihi kâgir evleri ve her birinin bir tabloyu andıran giriş cepheleri mimari tasarımlarının zenginliği ile merkezin tarihi süreçteki önemini açıkça ortaya koymaktadır.
