A Characterized as Alevi of Order : Galibis

In Islamic world some orders are based on Hz. Ebu Bekir and some orders are based on Hz. Ali. The orders which are based on Hz. Ali are generally named as Alevi-Meşreb. The orders which practice Zikir vocally are also characterized as Alevi. Hz. Ali is assigned as the master of the people who practice vocal Zikir. The Galibis who practice Zikir vocally accept that they belong to the Hanefi order and also Alevi in spirit. The founder of the order is Galip Hasan Kuşçuoğlu. With the decision of the spiritual council, as the unification of the Kadiri and Rufai ordes at August 1993, the Galibi Order is given to Galip Hasan Kuşçuoğlu. It is believed that at that time, in that council there were spiritual leaders like Seyyid Abdulkadir Geylani, Seyyid Ahmed Kebir Rufai, Şeyh Ahmet Yesevi, Şeyh Ahmed Kuddusi. Kuşçuoğlu passed away in 2013. After his passing the order did not disband, his caliphs Ali Yetkin Şekerci and Atıf Uzunömeroğlu were accepted as the new Sheiks of the order. In some cities where the Galibis are working, discussions are made and in some cities Ali Yetkin Şekerci and in some cities Atıf Uzunömeroğlu are accepted as the Sheiks. All Galibi dervishes show great respect to both Sheiks. The places where the Galibis are practicing their prayers are called “Kitap Sünnet ve Asra Uygun İbadethane” (Place of worship). The Galibi dervishes are calling these places as Dergah. In the Galibi Dergah, there are twelve-angled and eight-angled decorations. It is guessed that the 12 angled star represents the 12 orders and the 8 angled star represents Seljuk star.
