Din değiştirme milletlerin hayatında çok önemli ve kalıcı tesirler bırakmaktadır. Uygurlarla ilk kez yaşanan bu süreç daha sonra İslam dininin benimsenmesiyle daha geniş ölçüde etkisini göstermiştir. Türklerin İslam dinine girmesiyle birlikte kültürel alanda çok ciddi değişimler ve etkileşimler olmuştur. Şüphesiz bu etkileşimlerin en büyüğü dil alanında olmuştur diyebiliriz. Arap ve Fars kültürü gibi iki güçlü kültürle ve dolayısıyla dille karşılaşan Türkçe, bu dillerden İslam’a geçiş sürecinde ciddi anlamda etkilenmiş, birçok ödünçleme kelime Türkçeye girmiştir. Bu kelimelerden pek çoğunun Türkçede kalıcı hale gelmesinin yanı sıra günlük hayatta kullanılan kelimelerin de girmesine neden olmuştur. Dini terminoloji bakımından İslam öncesi döneme ait elimizde sınırlı kaynakların bulunması nedeniyle Türkçenin bu dönemine ait sözcükler sınırlıdır. İslamla birlikte Türkçenin bu kavramları karşılama sürecinde EAT (Eski Anadolu Türkçesi) dönemi önemli bir dönemdir. Bu dönem içerisinde Anadolu sahasında yazılan pek çok eser dini içerikli olarak yazılmıştır. Dini içerikli bu metinlerde İslam’a geçiş sürecinde dini terimlerin ne oranda alınmış oldukları rahatlıkla görülebilir. Sadece ilk aşamada veya ilk anda yapılabilecek olan yabancı terimleri karşılama işi EAT metinlerine bakılarak Türkçeleştirme neticesi anlaşılabilir. Çalışmada bu döneme ait 16 farklı eser taranmış ve bu eserlerdeki “peygamber” terimiyle ilgili kullanımlar bağlam ve yapı yönüyle incelenmiştir. Tespit edilen terimlerin yapı ve köken olarak hangi dillerden alınmış oldukları belirlenmiş ve oransal olarak ortaya konulmuştur.

Proselytising/Converting into another religion leaves significant and permanent effects on nation’s life. The process that was first experienced by the Uighurs showed it’s impact on a wider scale with the adoption of Islam. In the cultural field with the introduction of Islamic religious Turks it has been very serious changes and interactions. No doubt this has been the biggest in the language areas of interaction can say. Such as Arabic and Persian culture and therefore encountered two strong language, Turkish culture, the process of transition to Islam seriously affected of these languages, the word has entered many borrowing Turkish. In addition to most of these words’ being permanent in Turkish, it has also led to the entry of the other words used in daily life. There are limited resources in terms of religious terminology because we have started the pre-Islamic Turkish word of this period is limited. EAT (Old Anatolian Turkish) period in the process of meeting with the concepts of Turkish Islam is an important period. Many works written during this period in the Anatolian field were writen in a way that contained religion. In these religion-containing texts, it can clearly be seen at what rate religious terms were adopted during the Islamic period. Just by looking at EAT texts, the profession to compare the foreign terms that can only be carried out in the first phase or moment, the result of making Turkish can be understood. The study screened 16 different works of this period and in these works "prophet" has examined the context and structural aspects related to the use of the term. From which languages the terms determined have been adopted structurally and originally has been established and presented proportionately.
