Bu çalışmada çeviri eylemi çok farklı boyutlarda ele alnınmış ve bu çeviri işlemenin çok karmaşık bir süreç olduğu tartışılmıştır. Çeşitli bilim insanlarının da düşüncelerine yer verilen araştırmada, dil içi çeviri, çevirinin dilin iletişimsel işlevi, kültürlerarası iletişimdeki işlevi, yabancı dil öğretimindeki işlevi üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu bağlamda yazınsal dillerin yapısal ilişkilerinin çeviriye etkisi, eşdeğer ve kabul edilebiliri bir çevirinin nasıl olması gerektiği ve çeşitli çeviri anlayışları da bu makalede konu edilmiştir.
In this study, the act of translation has been discussed in many different dimensions and it has been argued that the act of translation is a very complicated process. The study, which includes the opinions of many scientists as well, focuses on several functions of translation such as intralinguistic function, communicational function, its function in intercultural communication and in foreign language teaching. In this context, the affect of the connection between the structural relations of literary languages on translation, how equivalent and acceptable translation should be and various understandings of translation have also been mentioned in this article.
