This background is clearly revaled in Mehmet Kaplan’s analysis of Yunus Emre and his works. Mehmet Kaplan, in his articles, emphasises Yunus Emre’s short but striking statements. Kaplan’s studies on Yunus Emre and his poems which are written by a contemporary view are very important in order to understand Yunus and his poems and transfer the literary and cultural value of this to next the generations. The works of Mehmet Kaplan about Yunus Emre and his poems at different times occupy in various journals and books. In this article, Mehmet Kaplan’s studies on Yunus Emre and his works/poems which are amorphously present in different publications are chronogically identified and valued as a whole.
