Khorasan Mystic School


Everywhere and every village in Khorasan there was a famous mystic. Famous figures of the Sufism were here with the outstanding works and religious practices. Khorasan mystics, also played a yeast part in Islamization of Anatolia. After the Mongol invasion, sufi scholars who came to Anatolia, they have developed a new concept with their educational services and their books. Pervade of Islamic movement headed from East to Anatolia with the Khorasan character. No doubt this movement occured by the figures who are Akhmad Yassawi (d. 1166), Mavlana Jalaladdin-i Rumi (d. 1273) and Ali Samarkandi (d. 1456). This school intellectually supported the Seljuk civilization basin. It initiated the formation of the Ottoman civilization and restored the crumbled surroundings of İslamic world. This school was recognized with the talent of establishing the civilization from aesthetic to science and from technology to art and architecture. This school which employes impotant mystics in the formation of mystic mind necessitate to investigate the mystery of the school. There was a spirit in this school which conducived to Isliamification rapidly pervade by Prophets grandchilds. The Khorasan Rical, rejected all kinds of discriminations and saw the humanity as a big family. caught between Western and Eastern Mongolian-crusader attacks of Islamic civilization to a new medium. Thus, Seljuk and Anatolia Emirates period, the accumulation of centuries has evolved into this school of Sufism and to shape the Ottoman civilization. So they found a new medium to Islamic civilization that trapped between East Mongolian-Western crusader attacks. Thus, Anatolia Seljuk and Emirates period has evolved into Ottoman civilization with this school of Sufism which is accumulation of centuries. To know this Khorasan School we need to count those qualities; futuwwa, sama’, malamet, hangah culture, literature, poetry, commitment to sharia, to stand against persecution.
