Eğitimde amaç çocukların bilişsel, duyuşsal, sosyal ve psikomotor becerilerinin geliştirilmesidir. Çocuğun çok yönlü gelişimi için eğitim durumlarının çocukların ilgilerini çekecek yaklaşım, yöntem ve tekniklerle planlanması ve buna uygun materyaller kullanılması gerekmektedir. Dil, araştırmacılar tarafından soyut bir kavram olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Soyut olan bir kavramın oyun ve oyuncaklarla somutlanabilirliği ise üzerinde düşünülmesi gereken bir konudur. Bu araştırmada amaç, Türkçe öğretmenlerinin Türkçe dersinde eğitsel bir materyal olarak oyun ve oyuncak kullanıma yönelik görüş ve önerilerinin belirlenmesi ve değerlendirilmesidir. Amaç doğrultusunda amaçsal örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak Erzurum merkezinde görev yapan 10’u bayan 7’si erkek olmak üzere 17 Türkçe öğretmeni örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırmada betimsel araştırma yaklaşımıyla öğretmen görüşleri belirlenmiştir. Öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemek için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Görüşme formu açıklama, demografik özellikler ve görüşme soruları (8 soru) olmak üzere üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Öğretmenlerle 20 dakikalık görüşmeler yapılmış ve görüşmeler kaydedilerek elde edilen veriler Türkçe eğitimi alanında uzman araştırmacılar tarafından betimsel ve içerik analizine tabi tutulmuş, sonuçlar karşılaştırılarak kategoriler oluşturulmuş, sonuçlar tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre Türkçe öğretiminde oyun ve oyuncakların eğitim materyali olarak kullanılmasının dil bilgisi öğrenme alanıyla sınırlı olduğu; okuma, dinleme, yazma, konuşma ve görsel okuma öğrenme alanlarında ise özellikle okuma, yazma ve görsel okuma öğrenme alanlarında oyun ve oyuncakların çok fazla kullanılamadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuçlara göre Türkçe eğitiminde bütün öğrenme alanlarına yönelik eğitsel oyun ve oyuncakların araştırılması, tasarlanması ve öğretmenlere bu konu ile ilgili hizmet içi eğitim kursları verilmesi gerektiği söylenebilir.

The purpose of education is improving cognitive, affective, social and psychomotor skills of the children. Education should be planned with approaches, methods and techniques that will attract the attention of children and proper materials should be used accordingly for multifaceted development of children. Language is defined as an abstract concept by the researchers. Materializing an abstract concept with games and toys is an issue that needs to be discussed. Therefore, practices and recommendations of Turkish teachers regarding teaching Turkish are considered to be investigated. In this study, the aim is to determine and evaluate the opinions and recommendations of Turkish teachers regarding the use of games and toys in Turkish courses as educational materials. For this purpose, a total of 17 Turkish teachers composed of 10 women and 7 men working in the City of Erzurum were selected as samples of the study by using purposeful sampling method. In the study, teachers' opinions were identified by descriptive research approach. A semi-structured interview form was used to determine the opinions of teachers. The interview form consists of three sections as description, demographics and interview questions (8 questions). 20-minute interviews were conducted with teachers and these interviews were recorded and the data obtained were subjected to both descriptive and content analyses by expert researchers in the field of Turkish language. Categories were created by comparing the results and results are presented in tables. According to the results of the study, it is determined that the use of games and toys as educational materials in Turkish course is limited to the area of learning grammar only; and they cannot be used a lot especially in the areas such as reading, writing and visual reading among reading, listening, writing, speaking and visual reading areas. According to these results, it can be suggested that it is necessary to design and investigate educational games and toys for all learning areas in the education of Turkish language and training teachers about these materials with in-service training courses is also important.
