In Turkish Cinema, Could Heroes Of Traditioanl Narrative Form Return To Symbol From The Image?


In this study, the heroes of the narrative tradition in Turkey is the subject of how to return the icon image that enacted in Turkish cinema. First, briefly who the hero, an icon image from quoting requirement, how we come across in social norms, how the image of the hero and icon that will be addressed is located. Today symbolic values are typically located in the foreground. The imaginary hero of the people in terms of determining who is the hero and the meaning they give to the heroes different dimensions. Meaning the hero as symbolic of receptive forms are different. Turkish culture in some imaginary events, situations and facts it has gained a dimensions that is quite difficult to be symbolized. For example, a listener or the reader hear the oral tradition of the hero or read a written text, it is how it is constructed in one's own mind. When we consider the social memory dimensions to symbolize the heroic image in the minds of people it is difficult and complex. Symbolic cultural objects with imaginary cultural objects are different from each other to transfer. If the image is not transformed into symbol successfully, the hero can be disabled. Types as Keloğlan and Kara Murat in Turkish cinema to be seen in this light. In this text, we can get the form of the imaginary hero, what are the differences between the current and previous? Turkish cinema icon, is able to replace the image? These questions will be considered, as well as examples of Turkish cinema and a comparison will be made in terms of imaginary and symbolic of the American cinema.
