Klasik edebiyat, altı asır boyunca, cihanda hüküm sürmüş bir medeniyetin içinde nüve bulmuş, o medeniyetin içinde şekillenmiş ve kâmil hale gelmiştir. Öyle ki altı asır boyunca dünyada mecvut olan bir medeniyetin lisanı haline gelmiştir. Bu bağlamda klasik edebiyat birçok şair yetiştirmiş ve bu şairler de kendine özgü üslubuyla, birbirinden doğrudan ya da dolaylı bir şekilde etkilenerek eserler meydana getirmişlerdir. Divan edebiyatı bünyesinde barındırdığı malzemenin mahiyeti itibariyle benzerlik, paralellik ve gelenek üzerine inşa edilmiştir. Şairler aynı malzeme ile farklı şeyler ortaya koymaya çalışmıştır. Bu durum tabii olarak birçok şairin birbirinden etkilenmesine zemin hazırlamıştır; fakat her şair birbirinden etkilenmemiş devrinin mihenk taşı olan şairler diğer şairler üzerinde hem edebi açıdan hem sanat ve estetik açısından hem de üslup açısından daha baskın ve etkili olmuşlardır. 16.yy’ın en büyük şairlerinden biri olan Fuzûli yalnızca devrindeki şairleri değil kendisinden sonra gelen birçok şairi de tesiri altında bırakmıştır. Classic literature, six centuries had reigned an empire the world has emerged and it has become perfectly to shape of civilization. In this context, many trained and poet of poets in the style of its own, separated from each other either directly or indirectly influenced by the works of art they created. Classic literature, similarity as the nature of the object that embodies, is built on parallel and traditions. This situation naturally paved the way for many poets to be influenced by each other; however, not every poet was influenced by each other, as those poets who were the touchstones of their age were more dominant and influential on other poets both literarily and in terms of art and aesthetics as well as style of language. Fuzûli, one of the greatest poets of the 16th century, only affect the poets of the century, and has influenced many poets.
