On dokuzuncu yüzyılın ikinci yarısında yerini yeni bir edebiyata bırakan klasik Türk edebiyatı, başta modern Türk edebiyatı olmak üzere müzik, tiyatro gibi sanatlarda, gerek doğrudan malzeme vererek gerekse yeniden üretme biçiminde, varlığını sürdürmeye devam etmektedir. Bu sanatlara hat, tezhip gibi geleneksel sanatları da eklemek mümkündür. Bu sanatları besleyen bir kaynak olarak yeninin içinde varlığını sürdüren klasik Türk edebiyatı; meraklıları dışında, hakkında hiç bitmeyen tartışmalar ve millî eğitim müfredatında bulunmasıyla da toplumsal yaşamda az çok yer almaktadır. Bütün sanat dallarını, dahası toplumun bütün meselelerini malzeme edinen ve yedinci sanat olarak adlandırılan sinemada da klasik edebiyatın birtakım meseleleriyle yer aldığı görülmektedir. Bu anlamda klasik edebiyat için bir yansıma alanı olarak nitelendirilebilecek sinema toplum üzerindeki etki gücüyle bu edebiyat hakkındaki algıyı da şekillendirebilmektedir. Biz bu çalışmada klasik edebiyatın beyaz perdeye hangi meseleleriyle, ne şekilde yansıtıldığını neden-sonuç ilişkisi içerisinde ele alacak ve sinemanın toplumdaki klasik edebiyat algısına etkisi üzerinde duracağız.
Giving its place to a new sort of literatüre in second half of the nineteenth century, classical Turkish literature is contiuning its existence firstly in modern Turkish Literature and art like music and theater both giving direct material and in the form of reproducing.Traditional arts like Islamic calligraphy and ornamentation can also be added to these arts. Classical Turkish literature, which is living in its sleeve,as a source suppliying these arts,except its enthusiasts, more or less in social life with never-standing discussions and by existing in the national school curriculum.Also in cinema,that uses all the matters of society in addition to all these fields of art as ingredients, and that is called as the seventh art, classical literature appears with a number of issues.In this sense,the cinema which can be considered as a reflection space for classic literate,can shape the perception with the power effects on society.In this study,we will evaluate in what way and in which subjects the classical literature, which generally took part in Turkish cinema thanks to literary work adaptations and literature education, was adapted to screenplay in a cause and effect relationship and discourse on the effects of cinema to the classic literature perception in the society.
