This article handles the process of being religious which is experienced sincerely as a result of experiencing some psycho-social interaction of someone whose approaching the religion of which he is a member, religious knowledge, belief, religious attitudes and behaviors are so-called and superficial . In addition, this study searches for signs before returning to religion, what they experienced throughout the process of returning to religion and changes after returning to it. In this study, as a data collection tool, a questionnaire which was prepared by the researcher with reference to research about religious conversion was administered to 132 participants who committed apostasy. Besides, there are open-ended questions about participants’ approaching to religion before returning to it, how their thoughts of returning to religion came up and how this process reflects on their religious and daily lives. The data obtained in the study were analyzed with descriptive methods with regards to participants’ religious feelings, ideas, attitudes and behaviors which are experienced in the process of returning to religion.
