Osmanlı, Fransız ve İngiliz saat ustalarının ve üreticilerinin yaptıkları saat örneklerinden toplam yedi tanesi Ankara Vakıf Eserleri Müzesinin teşhir salonlarında sergilenmektedir. İstanbul ve Kütahya camilerinden getirilip, müzeye konulan saatlerden iki tanesi markasız olup, Fransız yapımıdır. Saatlerden iki tanesi İngiltere/Londra’da Markwick-Markham-Recordon ve, Markwick-Markham-Gout tarafından imal edilmiştir. Müzede sergilenen uzun kasalı veya ayaklı iki İngiliz saati, bir Fransız saatinin üzerinde, bir Osmanlı saatinin kadranında yapılış tarihi ile ilgili bir ibare bulunmamakla birlikte, imal eden firma veya kadranda ismi geçen saat ustaların yaşadığı dönemler düşünüldüğünde, başka saatler ile kompozisyon ve motif benzerliği göz önüne alındığında, saatlerin çoğunun XIX. yüzyıl başında, bir kısmının da XIX. yüzyıl sonunda yapılmış olabilecekleri akla gelebilir. Müzedeki üç saatin yapılış tarihi saatlerin kadranında yazılı durumdadır. Bu tarihler 1887, 1910 ve 1919 yıllarıdır. Saatler ahşap, kağıt, metal ve cam malzemeden yapılmıştır. Mekanik aksamları metalden yapılmış olan saatlerin hepsi ahşap kasalı olup, kasaların içine düzgün konulmuştur. Meşe, maun gibi ağaç türlerinden kasa yapımında faydalanılmıştır. Ahşap kasaların parlatılması ve uzun ömürlü olması için genellikle gomalak denilen koruyucu bir cila kullanılmıştır. Saatlerin boyları 247 cm. ile 47 cm. arasında, ortalama genişlikleri 45 cm. ile 30 cm. arasında, kalınlıkları 23 cm. ile 13 cm. arasında değişmektedir. Oyma, boyama, döküm, kalem işi, kazıma gibi süsleme ve yapım teknikleri saatler üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Saatler üzerindeki süslemeler üst bölümde ve bir örnekte alt bölümde de yer almaktadır. Akantus, asma, gül, kır çiçeği, kıvrık dal, küpe çiçeği, menekşe, palmet, rozet çiçeği, rumi, sümbül, yaprak gibi bitkisel unsurlar, burma, hilal, inci, madalyon, yıldız ve yumurta gibi geometrik unsurlar; bukle, kandil, küre, mızrak ucunu hatırlatan bir motif ve vazo gibi nesneli süsleme motifleri saatler üzerinde beğenilerek uygulanmıştır .
