The Reliability and Validity of the Family Resilience Assessment Scale-Turkish Version


The purpose of this study was to adapt to Turkish and to examine the reliability and validity of the Family Resilience Assessment Scale developed by Sixbey (2005), according to Walsh (1998) model. The Family Resilience Assessment Scale was first translated into Turkish. The questionnaire was administered to 655 adults who were 18 or older in age lived a traumatic event in their family. The Cronbach alpha internal consistency and split-half reliability of the scale were determined. Confirmatory factor analysis was applied to determine construct validity of the scale and
