After the dissolution of Soviet Union, Turkmenistan became one of the countries that gained its freedom in the beginning of 1990 (September, 27 1991). The country started to provide some improvements so as to show and introduce its own linguistic and cultural richness just after having gained its freedom. The literary works written in Turkmen were listed and it was struggled to raise awareness of Turkmenistan about them. The foundation of the Institute of Turkmen Manuscripts has been considered, to a great extent, as the initial improvement in order to search and find the cultural and literary works written in Turkmen and collect manuscripts for the country. With the memorandum of Saparmurat Atayevich Niyazov, who is the 1st President of Turkmenistan, the National Institute of Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan called as Turkmenbashi was founded in March 15, 1993. Khoja Ahmat Yasawi (Ata Yesevi) known as Pir-i Türkistan was a Turkic Sufi in 12th century. His aphorisms had been read for centuries and reached to our century. With the order of Khoja Ahmat Yasawi, Chorasmian Kul Süleyman Bakirganî (date of birth-1186) gave people guidance on the shores of Amu Darya in the region of Chorasmia. His grave is in Akkurgan. Kul Süleyman Bakırganî became a well-known person like Khoja Ahmat Yasawi in the Volga and Turkistan with his poems concerning wisdom. In this paper, we will give some examples of the manuscripts of Divani-Hikmat (House of Wisdom) and the poems written by Kul Süleyman Bakirganî (his student). Many aphorisms were added which were stated in the various journals as well. Among these literary works, this anonymous work called Risale-i Hoca Ahmed-i Yesevi-Hekim Ata plays an important role as being a significant one giving more information about the century.
