İslâm ahlâk anlayışına göre, insanoğlu içinde kendisine kötülüğü fısıldayan şeytânî sesi ve buna kanmaya meyilli nefsinin arzu ve isteklerini tamamen yok edemese de onları sağlıklı tefekkür ve sağlam bir iradeyle kontrol altına alabilir. Kötülüğü emreden sese değil de, bozulmamış vicdanının sesine kulak veren ve tercihini o yönde kullanan kişi dünyadaki imtihanı başarıp ahireti kazanabilir. Nitekim insana böyle bir özellik verilmesinin nedeni, imtihan ediliyor olmasıdır. Bu özellik verilmeseydi bir imtihandan da söz edilemezdi. Bu itibarla, Yüce Allah’ın insana kendi ruhundan üfleyerek değer vermesi ve ona dünyada böyle bir fırsatı sunması oldukça önemlidir. Zira mahlûkatın en şereflisi olarak yaratılmak ve böyle bir sınavla baş başa bırakılmak bile büyük bir onurdur. Dolayısıyla insanoğlu nefsinin arzularına göre değil de, Rahman’ın emirlerine göre hareket ettiğinde meleklerden daha üstün bir konuma yükselme imkânına sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, İslâm tasavvufunun önemli simalarından biri olan Ebu’l-Hasan el-Harakânî’nin nefsi tezkiye metodu ve konuyla ilgili civanmertlerine yaptığı tavsiyeler değerlendirilmiştir. el-Harakânî’ye göre kıyâmet günü Allah’ın rızasını kazanmak, cehennemden kurtulmak ve cennete girmek isteyen kimsenin yapması gereken şey, nefsini kötülüklerden arındırmak, Kur’an ve Sünnet’in emirlerine sımsıkı sarılmak ve Sahâbe modelini takip ederek örnek bir Müslüman olmaya çalışmaktır. Dünyadaki tüm insanlara ulaşmak, onlara şefkat ve merhametle davranmak, kendi dillerinde son din İslâm’ı en güzel şekilde temsil ve tebliğ etmektir.

According to the Islam morality understanding human beings could not destroy the sound of the devil whispering wickedness and the desire and wishes of nafs believing in this sound of devil, but he/she could control with healty contemplation and strong will. If a man doesn’t listen the sound of evil, but he/she listens to the voice of his/her intact conscience, uses his/her preference in that direction, mankind can be managed to gain the test in the world for the Hereafter. In fact, the reason for such a feature that has been given to the mankind is being tested. If this feature is not given to the mankind then it could not be mentioned the test of him. In this regard, to give the value to the people and to blow His own spirit them of Almighty Allah and to offer such an opportunity is very vital thing in the world. Because, as the most honorable creatures to be created and to be left alone such an test is a great honor for the people. Therefore, if human beings act the orders of Rahman and not act according to the desires of his ego, mankind can be have the opportunity to rise a superior position than the angels have. In this study, the method of purification of nafs of Abu’l-Hasan el-Kharakani who is one of the most important figures of Islamic mysticism and recommendations regarding with this method to his follewers are assessed. According to el-Kharakani, what a man, who wants to gain the pleasure of Allah, to get rid of the hell and to enter the heaven has to do is to purify the soul from the evils, hold the orders of Qur'an and Sunnah and to try to become an example Muslim by following the model of Sahabe (Companions). Then the goal of this man is to reach all the people all over the world, treat them with kindness and compassion, notify them in their own language and represent them the last religion, Islam, in the best way.
