Kavalalı Mehmet Ali Paşa, had a powerful army, as a result of his reform movement he started out, after he became governor of Egypt. After only Girit Governorship, among governorships of Girit, Syria and Tripali- Damascus, which were promised to be given to him in return for suppressing Morean uprising, was given to him, Mehmet Ali Pahsa began to seek a pretext in order to take governorships of Damascus and Syria by means of armed forces. Accordingly, he sent the Egyptian army under the command of İbrahim Pahsa, his son, to Akka at the end of 1831. Egyptian Army, under the command of İbrahim Pasha, put his signature under important successes against Ottoman forces, and then they proceeded and conquered Konya. After Konya was conquered by Egyptian forces, Mehmet Said Hemdem Çelebi, sheikh of Konya Mevlana Islamic Monastery, left Konya and he went to Akşehir, then he went to Karahisar. However, after İbrahim Pahsa conquered Konya, Mehmet Said got angry with Hemdem Çelebi, as he went to Karahisar and made Aşçı Dede (Chief Grandfather) write a threatening letter in which he wants him to come back. Upon this threatening letter, Çelebi had to come back to Konya, helplessly. In this study, it is tried to be put forward that what the attitude of Mehmed Said Hemdem Çelebi, sheikh of Konya Mevlevî Lodge, is during occupation of Konya and this process, following successes of İbrahim Pahsa against Otoman forces. In this study especially archieve documents are weighted.
