The Interaction Of Turkish And Chinese Painting

Turks and Chinese which where neighbor for a long time during the history, has influenced each other some times as a result of the wars between them or some times as a result of friendly relations have . This influence has manifested itself more in Miniature which is a kind of Visual art. Sometimes artist Uygures who went to the palaces of Chinese Emperors have contributed to the growth of Chinese art. And sometimes art works which came from China to Central Asia were used as a model for Chinese techniques and motifs in Central Asia. This way there was near cultural and artistic ties between these two civilizations. This article after investigating the influence of these two civilizations on each other, investigates motifs which has entered Iranian and Turk miniature from China.
