Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin görev yaptıkları okullardaki öğrencilerin niteliklerine dair genel algısını ortaya çıkaran bir ölçme aracı geliştirerek, konuyla ilgili yapılacak çalışmalara hem bir zemin hazırlamak, hem de ilgili literatüre katkı sağlamaktır. 40 maddeden oluşan ölçek deneme uygulamasında liselerde görev yapan 50 kişilik bir öğretmen gurubuna, asıl uygulamada ise yine liselerde görev yapan 300 kişilik bir öğretmen gurubuna uygulanmıştır. Psikometrik ölçümleri beklentileri karşılayan ve tek boyuttan oluşan ölçeğin toplam varyansa yaptığı katkı % 41.791’dir. Ölçeğin p<0.01 önem düzeyinde olmak üzere madde toplam puan korelasyonlarının ,387 ile ,742 arasında değiştiği, ölçeğin toplam puanlarına göre oluşturulan alt üst %27’lik grupların madde ortalama puanları arasındaki farkların p<0,001 önem düzeyinde anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür. AGÖNÖ’nin cronbach-alfa güvenirlik katsayısı ,959 , iki yarı test güvenirliği katsayısı ,916 olarak bulunmuştur.
The aim of this study is to prepare a basis for future studies and contribute to the literature by developing a scale which reveals general perception of teachers regarding students of the school they work for. The fourty-item scale has been tested on a group of 50 high school teachers for the pilot study and administered on a group of 300 high school teachers during the actual study. The contribution of the scale, which meets expectations and is made up of a single dimension, to the total variance is 41.791 %. The study has shown that item-total score correlations range between ,387 and ,742 when the significance level is considered p<0.01and that the difference between item-average scores of the top and bottom 27% groups that have been formed based on the total score of the scale are at the significance level of p<0.01. Cronbach-alfa reliability score of the scale is ,959 and the split-half reliability is ,916.
