In the Travel book of Evliya Çelebi, which is accepted as one of the most important works of the 17th century, we find information not only about the social and cultural characteristics like geography, history, architecture and demographics but also about the dialect and accent of the places travelled around. The list in the second volume of the Travel book, "Lisân-ı Istılâh-ı Etrâk-ı Tosya ve Bolu ve Dörddîvân" is the list we find the most comprehensive examples about the accents.
