Comparison Of The Novel Of George Orwell Called ‘Bın Dokuz Yuz Seksen Dort’ And Novel Of Cengiz Aytmatov Called ‘Gun Olur Asra Bedel’ Within The Context Of ‘Thoughtcrime’


Gün Olur Asra Bedel, in which Cengiz Aytmatov told about past, present and future of life that are three separated period of time narrated ironically vision of world in which unrighteously and monotony life have been imposed on, dealing with mind evanescence that is common result for all mentioned period, different time and conditions. And Bin Dokuz Yüz Seksen Dört, novel of George Orwell who is one of the important writers of English literature, mentioned about struggle of demanding justice and rustiness of consciousness that is the result of being subjected to sovereign and criticised that the pressure of the management on people and its regime tried to carry out. Oppressive regime and injustice that are the common subject in both of the novels, impossed physical or mental rustiness of people as solution. In the novels, the system defending that the people must struggle just to keep the state alive and banning any autonomous thought and behaviour has been criticized. Mentioned system abolished free thought and privacy completely, put machine system that has been directed by sovereign to the centre of life and imposed standart mentality. Bin Dokuz Yüz Seksen Dört that is a dystopia stray from Gün Olur Asra Bedel by virtue of its this structure. Both of the novels that attract attention in parallelism of historical process, dealed with thoughtcrime and presented similar results in different conditions. In this study it has been tried to research similarities and differentnesses in Bin Dokuz Yüz Seksen Dört that is a dystopia and Gün Olur Asra Bedel that includes utopia in it within the frame of causation.
