Yunus Emre, Türkçenin varlığını koruması, yaşaması, bir edebiyat ve kültür dili olup gelişmesi yolunda çaba sarf etmiş şairlerdendir. Yunus Emre, H.648/M.1240-1 tarihinde doğmuş, 82 yıllık bir hayattan sonar H, 648/M. 1320-1 tarihinde vefat etmiştir. H.VIII. asrın başlarını veyahut H.730-735/M. 1329/1334 yıllarını şairin ölüm tarihi olarak kabul etmek gerekir.Yunus Emre’nin en önemli eseri “Divan’ıdır. Bu eserinde aruz ölçüsüyle yazılmış ve gazel şeklinde yazılmış şiirlerde vardır. Fakat en güzel şiiirleri hece ölçüsüyle , dörtlükler halinde söylemiş olduğu ilahilerdir. Kafiye olarak genellikle halk ve tekke şiirindeki geleneğe uygun olarak daha çok yarım kafiye ve redif kullanılmıştır. Risalet’ün Nushiyye kısa mensur bölüm dışında mesnevi biçimiyle ve aruz ölçüsüyle yazılmış didaktik bir eserdir.Yunus Emre Tek ve ölümsüz eseri olan Divan ve didaktik mesnevisi Risalet’ün Nushiyye’deki tüm kelimeler taranmıştır. Tasavvvufi bir nasihatname olan eser XIII. ve XIV. Yy. Türk edebiyatının ilk ve en güzel örneklerindendir. 13 beyitlik bir başlangıçla kısa bir mensur girişle 600 beyitten müteşekkkidir.Taranan kelimeler hangi dildense kelime sonunda parantez içerisinde gösterilmiştir. Çalışma sonunda tüm kelimelerin dillerdeki oranı tespit edilmiştir.Bu çalışmanın amacı Yunus Emre’nin eserinde kullandığı tüm kelimelerin tespit edilerek Yunus Emre’nin kelime dağarcığının ortaya çıkarılmasıdır. Yunus Emre’nin kelime dağarcığının ortaya çıkartılmasıyla Türk dilinin ölümsüz sesinin soluğu 13. Yüzyıldan itibaren belirtilecektir
