Following Selçuk Bey’s death, one of his sons, Arslan Bey took control, and aimed to settle in by taking advantage of Karahanlılar’s fight for the crown. However, before he realised his goal, he was captured, and killed by Gazneli Mahmud. This situation left the the group which was subject to Arslan Bey and called Yabgulu Oğhuz attributing to his name, leaderless and homeless. Yabgulular’s adaptation problems caused them to have troubles with the people of the places that they migrated to. Exile like lives of Yabgulular who went to Mosul rejecting the subjection offer of Tuğrul Bey and were named disobedient community, directed the short history of them.
